I just reviewed an Aeon album. While not the most well-written review, it had to be done. Check it out please
I love that harp part.

I think the first section builds too much instrumentally without building enough on the theme: I would have liked to hear some more counterpoint than I did, especially in the strings: it just seemed like with every instrument that entered, it played something remarkably similar to the piano part (which is drop-dead gorgeous BTW).

What time is in? A "7" of some sort? 7/8 maybe?
yeah i'm just exploring motif frameworks before actually doing the intricate variation for each section :-)

it's in 6/4

kurrpt 01-23-2006 02:53 PM

that OTHER band wants me to try out tomorrow...

BUT, i have to learn covers today, and practice with that first band tomorrow.

I think I might just flake on that second band

Today's meant to be the most Depressing day of the year. For me it's been the most tired.

What type of music is it? It sounds interesting from your description...harp = good.

I'd love to hear the finished product once you're done with it.

I have been wandering in a state of blissful happiness, due to my new Girlfriend.

Ironic, eh?

Guess so. I just spent 3 hours in band practice trying to remain upright.

Shattered_Future 01-23-2006 03:59 PM

My day went...

Thought I woke up late first day of midterms. Rush upstairs, find out we're having a 2 hour delay, which has me only take 1 test (Global studies) instead of 2.

So, go home, dad's having a rehearsal with some people. Can't get on computer, need to study. Go to guitar lessonat 3:30, come back 4:30, jazz band at 7:30 to 9:30. Gives me no time to study for Chem, my hardest exam, which is tomorrow.

Who's the lucky lady Ollie?

Martha- Louise... it stabs the ladder theory in the arse, she was my friend for ages, then we kind of realised last night during an( I kid you not) 7 hour MSN convo, lasting until 5am what we really felt for each other

i've never seen you as happy before as you were today, you were actually skipping!

anyway, first post of the evening here is the last, i'm off now.

Lord Abortion 01-23-2006 04:11 PM

I don't get the whole "me being miserable" Idea that people have...I'm a pretty happy person, just I lacked a GF, now I have Martha, I'm not miserable at all. :)

I've bassically eliminated any chance of having another girlfriend in my current school, due to the fact that I'm outlandishly strange in every field possible .

No I don't!
Where the **** did that come from?!

I'm not in a pop-punk band by the way, I like to refer to my musical exploits as "Noise-Metal".
I'm pretty much like that too.

I'm sure your not, too many people are conciouse about what people think they look like, you're almost certainly not "large" :).
