Little Man being Erased 12-21-2005 05:28 PM
I listened to the first track, the aptly titled "29", then Itunes fritzed out on me and I don't want to reload it or find my CD player. It was a decent song.
It's a good song, that one. I'm not sure about the rest of the album yet. More listening shall reveal the answers.

TalkingHead 12-21-2005 06:53 PM

Grateful Dead - Blues For Allah
Paul Simon - The Rhythm Of The Saints
Buck 65 - Secret House Against the World

Little Man being Erased 12-21-2005 07:06 PM

I began listening to Handsome Boy Modelling School - White People today and I realised something that has nothing to do with the music: Tim Meadows is awesome and I need to see The Ladies Man again.

I'll be sure to put on DNOTD tomorrow.

Right now, it's The Pretenders - The Singles. Good new wave. If you like new wave pop rock punk-ish stuff like Police, Elvis Costello, you'd like The Pretenders.

Lots of the Man in Black, inspired by the thread in The Pit.
Yay. What do you think of the new Kayo Dot?
A bit disappointing, but still very good. But I've only listened to it on computer speakers, I need to have a nice headphones session with it before I can really judge.

Due to severe illness, i spent all day yesterday in bed listening to music and watching movies.

I listened to:

The Fall - Hex Enduction Hour
The Jesus and Mary Chain - Psychocandy
Pere Ubu - The Modern Dance
The Slackers - Better Late than Never
The Slackers - Close My Eyes
John Coltrane - Giant Steps
Big Boys - The Skinny Elvis
Public Image Ltd - Metal Box

OrbDragon 12-22-2005 08:52 AM

missAntarctica - Lost Electricty
dEUS - Pocket Revolution

I think I'll review these just in the hope these albums will be more appreciated. Not that I'm a good reviewer, but somebody's got to spread the word on these two gems.

Edit: I always spell Antarctica wrong.

That's a cool Big Boys album. I found them by mistake on soulseek one day.

Fun.

The Big Boys are great. We Got Your Money is my favourite song.

I've been digging:

Captain Chaos: Brilliant folk-punk, Chris from Ghost Mice's solo project.
Mischief Brew: Even better folk-punk, probably my favourite album this year.

Ah brilliant that takes me back, since i can remember we would listen to Paul Simon and Billy Joel tapes in the car on holiday, lasted a few years before we got older but it was great, i should find some of his stuff..

That is EXACTLY what that album evokes from me. That is AMAZING.

What's the difference between the bands Owls, Cows, and Eels?
