No way. Crime > RAR > AtEC > SFAFC
123, mofo. |
So I'm seeing AM! tomorrow for the second time.
Hopefully they are selling some hoody's, I need a one. |
Crime isn't that good anyway.
Best album = As The Eternal Cowboy
One two three. |
One two three.
I agree as well. RAR has gotten kinda boring. SFAFC is ok. But I'm loving ATEC at the moment. |
I agree as well.
RAR has gotten kinda boring.
Sif! But I agree with the comments on the other two. I need to pick my guitar up from you some time soon. |

I sitll think its a great album..but I've listened to it so much its kinda lost its touch... But i go through phases of things. So I will love it again soemtime soon. And yea, just come around whenever and grab it. |
I prefer the Crime versions of I Still Love You Julie and Walking Is Still Honest. One of the reasons which I don't like RAR that much.
|
RAR's version of Walking is still honest is awesome.
|
RAR's versions of songs all fail, except for Pints of Guiness. The RAR original songs are all good though.
ATEC = RAR > SFAFC |
Crime > all
And I enjoyed SFAFC more then ATEC and RAR, not to say its better, I just enjoyed it more. |
Out of the full length albums RAR is the best. I can listen to that many time, the lyrics on it are very good. ATEC is good but its a slight departure from RAR, and SFAFC was kinda boring except for a few songs.
|
I find RAR pretty boring now, and i still don't like SFAFC much.
Crime, Acoustic EP, and ATEC are all tied for me. |
Against Me totally ripped him off.
You ain't kiddin'. It's too bad they're on a major now, and could get a better lawyer, otherwise, I'd write that Dirty fellow and suggest he press charges. |
I saw the today! It was pretty goood, I remember, last time i saw them, in '04, it had a better atmosphere, but it still kicked arse. I got Warrens set list, its in my room, Ill post what they played later.
Against Me ripped them off!

http://www.myspace.com/dirtydirtydeitrich
Mattchew found it orginally
that dude is sweet.:chug: |
When they're playing in London they're being supported by Murder By Death and No Choice.
Murder By Death, despite the awful name, are pretty good from the few songs I've heard. Quite dark and atmospheric but also a cool traditional vibe. A bit like a more alternative The Devil Makes Three. No Choice are a Dillinger Four-esque political punk band from Wales who are good at what they do. It should be awesome. |
I can't wait. I'll see you there, Joe.
|
Murder By Death are incredible.
|
that dude is sweet.:chug:
My friends and I are making shirts of Dirty, we send him a message about it and he gave us his blessing and asked if he could have one . On the front its gonna have the rip off of rar then on the back its gonna have "....and Dirty hates to be alone " |

They aren't too bad of a band either, though nothing I'd write home about. |
I agree as well.
RAR has gotten kinda boring. SFAFC is ok. But I'm loving ATEC at the moment.
YOU'RE ALL WRONG! The acoustic EP,and Crime is where its at. But as for albums, i'ma gonna break this down... RAR>SFAFC>Cowboy. As the eternal cowboy was my first AM! album, and i love it to death. Most bands couldn't throw an album of that calibur together to save their lives. But RAR is just heaven, songs like Jordan's First Choice, Pints of Guiness, and 8 Hours of Sleep are in a league of their own. Clarity is really good, but not in the way the other two are. I think that with SFAFC, they show so much growth. The "folk" feel is starting to wear off, but it's somehow not a bad thing. I think that instead of "selling out" or "losing cred" against me is just moving on. Good for them. |

Favored bands from a time not long gone
Now fortune they've found, and from my shelves they've been torn Green in their eyes, they've failed to see Stricken with fame, they're now dead to me Former practicioners of anarchy Flooding the airwaves of cable tv Swayed by their mounting greed I raise my glass to you....dearest Against Me! You're losing touch, Mr. Gabel, betraying your roots I'm searching for a former clarity not found in music video shoots Do you remember "Crime...?" You used to give 'em hell You really ought to reinvent yourself Not dying for what you worked, merely being paid Now walking is only honest every couple of days Gaining new fans faster than they could ever be lost You've done yourself well, Tom, but at what cost? Role models of last week occupying the garbage can Say so long to another once-faithful fan Major labels and mediocre albums are where one must draw a line I'll find a new band to like for a month before they turn into greedy corporate swine Mr. Gabel, I sing this song for you I used to believe the words you sung held true Your ideals ripped and faded like your designer jeans Can you still recall quite what anarchy means? Former practicioners of anarchy Flooding the airwaves of MTV Swayed by their mounting greed I'll really miss you, dearest Against Me! |
Post that in songwriting too.
|
I'm getting there, poop.
