Hey guys! I'm leaving for the Slipknot Concert in Tampa, in about 15 minutes.
I can't wait. What should I expect. I am not in the pit, but I have good seats. I'm bringing my friend, and my dad is coming too.

Is the atmosphere in the seats really crazy? My dad dosen't like that type of music. Do you reccommend that he sits with us, or should he escape the craziness, and stand in the rest area?

Don't mind the cursing or drugs that will be there. Will the heavyness be to much for him? I know, its a really stupid question.

They aren't very heavy.

I know what its like to drag parents along, Its a bitch but oh well. The heaviness should really bother him, Slipknot are way better live than they used to be. They have a tighter sound that more people like.

The bass is alot easier to hear on the video version of the song rather than the album version.Which reminds me..........

Does anyone else feel the case of "Rotten apples spoiling the basket" in regard to the fans of Slipknot? I do.

The 8 - 12 year old 'Maggots' annoy me, because then lots of people think the band are stupid and childish, which is untrue.

Almost all the songs off first album would be in there (well first album not including mate feed kill repeat). Iowa I thought was a really bad album. The new album has some really interesting riffs. Welcome and the first song (i forget the name) are both really good. Think coreys lyrics have gone down hill a bit for some of the new stuff though.

I like all Slipknot songs..

Yes.

Slipknot has what I like to call "Too many idiot fans Syndrome". They have too many rabid, moronic, fanboyish fans who go around proclaiming them to be the best of the best, and defend them without any logical background...and then people bash the group and fans of the band, even though all fans are not nearly as bad as those fans.

Its a shame really.Slipknot has always had a certain depth to them, but most of their fans cant see it.Which is why Vol.3 wasnt as well recieved as it could have been.

Iowa was full of that.
Voll 3 is more complicated and better quality.So i like it more.
