Truth. That's why I'm in the reviews sit :p

Angmar 10-12-2007 10:58 PM

The review site is only good for trolling these days tbqh.

Tyler 10-12-2007 10:59 PM

and posting reviews tbqh.

Angmar 10-12-2007 11:00 PM

I was kidding :p

But yea

okay 10-13-2007 04:46 AM

the whole site has been lame for at least a year

Stormrider 10-13-2007 02:11 PM

new Blut Aus Nord on the 22nd.

"This album is a departure from the style introduced on MoRT in favor of a sound
similar to TWWTG combined with some elements of Vindsval's earlier work. "

I wasn't all that into TTWTG... but anyway, that and the debut are the only ones I've heard and I haven't listened to the band in looong while.

Angmar 10-13-2007 02:14 PM

I love Ultima Thulee but have been very unmotivated on checking any of their other albums out. Should I?

Stormrider 10-13-2007 03:08 PM

I decided to check Angantyr out before. I got their debut album, and it wasn't boring like everyone was making it out to be.

It wasn't amazing, but a decent release. Are the other full lengths better?

NemesisDivina 10-13-2007 03:23 PM

i only have kampen forsaetter from Angantyr, but it's a darn good release. Some of the riffs in there are reminiscent to Darkthrone

Invicta_Veritas 10-13-2007 03:24 PM

I only have Mort, and was severely dissappointed (it was a blind buy). I'm not an ambient person.

AA-12 10-13-2007 04:53 PM

I'm officially calling the BM genre dead.

10/13/07

R.I.P.

Stormrider 10-13-2007 04:54 PM

Why?

AA-12 10-13-2007 04:57 PM

I've come to the conclusion that's there's absolutely no room for innovation or bettering what's already there. I'm up to be challenged but don't see anything pulling through.

i am the robots 10-13-2007 05:02 PM

That's how so much metal is getting.

The biggest recent innovation to death metal was adding dancing breakdowns wooo.

AA-12 10-13-2007 05:04 PM

The only breath of fresh air is new Darkthrone but I don't see that style doing anything but being imitated and **** on.

Hey, you're the JFAC and BMTH fan, not us!

i am the robots 10-13-2007 05:07 PM

I was making the point that there's not much real innovation going on anywhere in metal.

gmoneyguy 10-13-2007 05:37 PM

I'm going to take that as a joke.

Nostalgia 10-13-2007 05:59 PM

How about everyone stops bitching about black metal being dead. If you really think that, how about you take the initiatve and stop thinking all ****ing good black metal is going to be found using your nifty little computer and find other sources.

Idiots.

Why all the hatred?

Honestly though, name a better way to find it than the internet. There isn't one.

Stormrider 10-13-2007 06:05 PM

@Austin: you should buy some zines. I will get one next time I order.

Some of them come with samplers aswell, which is always nice.

pate 10-13-2007 06:05 PM

Cassettes

Tyler 10-13-2007 06:06 PM

They still used their computers to find the cassettes. They used the internet to read descriptions and to order them.

Stormrider 10-13-2007 06:06 PM
Cassettes
And where do you find those cassettes?

Internet!

Wasn't to you, really. :)

Jammie: Yeah I was planning on ordering some. I dunno though, I might just to see what the Canadian scene has harvesting.

And what Lee said is totally right, whether he is serious or not.

Yeah, I like looking through bands from my area/country.

Nostalgia 10-13-2007 06:11 PM

And I write letters to order my cassettes FYI.

Not

Nostalgia 10-13-2007 06:14 PM

Well you're missing out.

pate 10-13-2007 06:38 PM

My computer doesn't have a cassette input.
