Metaliq:The jam track is pretty cool. My band have had two three hour practices and have four and a bit songs done. Heavy practice because i want to be gigging for the start of next year. We are only m and a drummer at the moment but will be sorting that once we have about 10 songs. I'm dying to play some gigs. Any gig would do, lucky bugger! :D

Well, OK. I'll come up with some story to support the thread. I have some, but I have to adapt the m or something.

One of the rules has got to be... less than a post long, that is, 20000 characters, tops. We don't want novels in there, has to be pure diversion. OK, then start the thread, I'll go there in a sec.

The show went well.

About 50 people there.

We only had 2 songs, so we played first.

Then they wanted us to play again at the end of it.

Isnt that kinda flaturing? I thought so.

Congrats on the gig. I want to go criticing... but I can't :( . My brain hurts and when that happens I give very impolite critics, even when people don't 100% deserve it.

Also, there was a cricket RIGHT outside my bedroom door last night. It was loud and annoying. So here was the battle plan...

1)Wound the cricket with a lighter torch so it cannot limp away as fast
2)Corner the cricket
3)Pliers!

And here is what happened...

I hit the cricket a few times with the lighter and then it started to limp away, and I tried to get it again but it kept moving. It eventually ran under an air compressor (small one) and then I sat and thought. I decided to grab the pliers and then move the compressor.

So I did, then gave it a *little* smash because I didnt want to be morbid and then grabbed it's antennae with the pliers (same ones it was killed with) and moved it into the garbage.

A very honorable death on his behalf.

If you don't like, get in their way and try to post constructive stuff, you might get lucky and well... safe from bans. Anyhow, I try not to go to spam threads, and pretty much a lot of critiquing here in S&L.
