I personally think emailing you about FAs is a bad idea. Why not just make a thread about it? You can post the ones which have already been done, and ones which people are planning to do so others know which bands have been taken?

I can do that, but it'll drop off the page fairly quickly I think. There won't be much discussion in it most likely.

I've done 4 large band profiles in the punk section recently that could be posted again in here i suppose if necessery. I did NOFX, the descendents, the adicts and the buzzcocks.

I wouldn't mind doing some FAs but all the bands I like have been done already.

What discussion does it need? Just requests for FAs. Spencer can sticky it if he wants, he can unsticky the news as well since that barely gets used anymore

Although i believe there's been a nofx profile done before, and i think Dan mentioned he had just done a Descendents profile some i'm not sure how you'd feel about those two?

Yes, separate forums, separate FA series. There are several bands that have been done in Punk that I'd love to see done here in fact.

I could do a Buzzcocks one for here, I was hesitant since their was already one in punk.

A lot of bands are hard to write an FA about because there's no/little information on the intraweb about them. I might do one on UnderOath in a month or so if I have the time.

That's why you choose bands that interest you. I had to do a ton of research for my FA on Sum 41, and tons also for my mini FA series in R&M, especially Dredg. Unless it's an absolutely unknown band there is some information though, you just have to look around. Like I said, if each person here did like...on per year it'd be enough, so I think asking you to do a little bit of research isn't a huge stretch.

Yeah I know what you mean. Just with school starting its going to be a lot more difficult to find time to do the research. Ill definately do one in the next few months though.
