I found this clip from Bodom playing at Wacken, among other artists...Sixpounder. Tis quite good, though they don't do the whole song (none of the bands do), and Alexi is mixed ridiculously low.
Outside stage right? Other bands like Death Angel, Ektomorph, Cannibal Corpse and Motorhead.

I can still hear the solos in it but yeah it isn't the best of mixing.

I've also got a clip of them playing Hate Me from Wacken 2002, but it's a fan camera I think but the quality is good, so I don't know where it comes from.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 03-11-2006 01:34 PM

u never sleep methinks

MRDuCran 03-11-2006 01:39 PM

I don't. Well at least not at night, that's hunting time.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 03-11-2006 01:47 PM

What u going to hunt :-P

I'm Charming 03-11-2006 01:48 PM
I don't. Well at least not at night, that's hunting time.
What's there to hunt in the UK?

I don't sleep... Except I don't live on MX. well. that's up for debate.

MRDuCran 03-11-2006 02:56 PM

People.

I'm Charming 03-11-2006 02:57 PM
People.
I'd suggest moving to Oregon, USA if you want to hunt people. Automatic weapons are LEGAL in Oregon. haha. Why the hell they need to be? I have no idea.
I dl all the CoB albums with one torrent, a little over a year ago.
Yarr.
Pirates For Life :chug:

In related CoB news, I may get to see them here in a few months at an amazing concert.

Haha wtf.

Ohshi, Bodom are going to be doing a 3RD(!!!) US tour after the Unholy Alliance, wtf again, 3 fucking US tours promoting one album in one year.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 03-11-2006 04:50 PM

I need to go

Yea, that's the one.

I love the Cannibal Corpse though...watching it makes me think, "I think he's trying to communicate with us!"

HAIL TRUE METAL 03-11-2006 05:59 PM

CoB is too melodic for me. i heard theyre really good live though, so i hope it's true when i see them with LoG mastadon and slayer on the unholy alliance tour this summer

Apocalyptic Raids 03-11-2006 06:04 PM

They are quite good live.

Shadows 03-11-2006 06:32 PM

Too melodic? That's a sad thing for a music fan to say. You're eliminating some of the best metal ever written.

Wow....

You're avatar is Lamb of God. Do really realize what LoG tries to do in their music? Have unique melodies and rhythms...

/slams head into wall

Apocalyptic Raids 03-11-2006 06:41 PM

But Bodom are much more melodic than LoG, though.

Well, they were anyway.

CoB..........too melodic?

Once you hear some other power metal you'll think CoB sounds like hell frozen over.

MRDuCran 03-11-2006 07:28 PM

I was going to say something regarding that comment but I really couldn't be bothered.

Neither could I.

Syracuse Vs Pitt is worth talking about. Great basketball on...

No, they still are.

God, I can't wait to see these guys this summer.

Shattered_Future 03-11-2006 09:33 PM

My friend (who was the most metal-phobic person I've ever met about 6 months ago) is going to this. And he refuses to drive me there.

The bastard.

Un-friend him... That's one of the lowest things someone could do.

not just on myspace/AIM

MRDuCran 03-11-2006 10:06 PM

I agree. A "friend" wouldn't do that.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 03-11-2006 10:10 PM

A friend of mine would gladly

I'm Charming 03-11-2006 10:11 PM
I agree. A "friend" wouldn't do that.
This is true. So very true.

Beat him over the head with a shovel, take his tickets & car... Go yourself.. That would teach him a lesson in friendship. :p

MRDuCran 03-11-2006 10:12 PM

And would be fun too.

I'm Charming 03-11-2006 10:15 PM
And would be fun too.
His parents would be mad because he put dents in the family shovel but, otherwise he'd have a blast.

MRDuCran 03-11-2006 10:18 PM

I'm Charming 03-11-2006 10:25 PM
Not to wear this shovel joke out but,

He should not only do that, but hit his head nice and shloww.

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 03-11-2006 10:27 PM
It was part of the convo at the time so yeah i joined in nothing wrong with that
Well... We don't like off topic posting in this thread. :p

What's up Mandy?

Lil’ Bloodred Ridin’ Hood 03-11-2006 10:32 PM

Stay on topic since its a priority of course

MRDuCran 03-11-2006 10:44 PM

Apart from the "these are the albums I have", I can't even remember the last Bodom related thing we talked about.

Lieutenant Dan 03-11-2006 10:53 PM

Yeah I'm just a bit too lazy to sift through 493 pages to find an answer to my question, so I'll just ask it here:

What amps did Alexi use to record Follow the Reaper? I know he uses a Lee Jackson preamp w/ a VHT power amp nowadays, but did he still use that way back when?

I'm Charming 03-12-2006 01:43 AM
Stay on topic since its a priority of course
yes m'am.

Any of the regulars in here heard of Skyfire, if so what do you guys think of them... I downloaded the CD from the Daily Upload and I loved it.

Execessive synths are a turn off for me, so I refrained from Downloading it.
