Coughing hurts.

And you probably wouldn't be able to twist your body around without feeling pain.

To know specifically a doctor would have to examine it, and most likely X-Ray.

It's very easy to break and crack ribs without even knowing it.

It doesn't hurt real bad when I cough, but when I breathe deeply or exhale deeply it does.

Most likely sprained or broken. I doubt with a cracked rib you would be able to breath with bad pain right now.

Definitely though check it out because those things need to heal right...

There isn't much a doctor can do though, really they can only be like stay out of activities for x amount of time.
