those are good albums though, Fear of the Dark is very under-rated, and the title track is way better live. want an upload of the live one?

they've said they're going to record the new album this autumn / winter, and it should be released in the 1st half of next year.
Sure! That'd be great.
Thanks

wow, over 30 posts in one day!

I just read that interview with Sharon. I like how she took a proud claim Bruce made and tried to make it sound more immature then throwing eggs and calling names.

the funny thing is, Bruce is one of the few guys who can boast and not be making a lot of it up, he'll always have credibility. sharon's just behaving like a kid in a playground at school who someone called a name.
Well now, that's a little harsh.
No it's not.
Maybe just a good thrashing by Killers' Era Eddie.
But my way's more fun. :(

YDload 08-31-2005 05:25 PM

I changed my user title to a bastardization of Bruce's rallying cry at Ozzfest :)

blockheads dead 08-31-2005 05:31 PM

I would be pissed if I went to that show and I had to listen to the PA getting cut on and off etc.

the_uber_penguin 08-31-2005 05:33 PM

I love the fact that we're all rallying round the whole "Death before dishonour" think, when the guy who originally said that was killed about an hour later at the Battle of Hastings.

Lord Abortion 08-31-2005 05:40 PM

Sliptallica did, he said they played a fucking blinder of a show despite that

Deth 08-31-2005 07:05 PM

As if you needed another reason to hate Sharon:
"Let's face it, the guy is a failed solo singer who's gone back to his band after his solo career failed. I don't know how many albums his last solo albums old in England but in America it sold 6,000 copies. Every solo album my husband puts out goes platinum. Look, tell you what, you take a picture of my husband and a photo of Monkey Boy down to (London's) Regent Street now and see who people recognize. There's no ****ing question, is there? And that's what it boils down to: Jealousy. Bruce Dickinson isn't my husband's peer. There wouldn't be an IRON MAIDEN if there was no SABBATH."
And YDload, your user-title is hilarious.

Lord Abortion 08-31-2005 07:10 PM

Sorry Sharon, but do you really think Bruce gives a flying fuck about his American sales?

oh...hang on....so Bruce had a solo career, so did Ozzy... they are both part of very successful bands...she says bruce returned to his band after a failed solo career?

erm...who exactly was Ozzy performing with at Ozzfest?
I'm damn sure it wasn't his solo band

Deth 08-31-2005 07:13 PM

 She is a very confused person.

At least Bruce's wife doesn't whore him out to everyone with money like a bitch.

Very true. I don't quite understand Sharon's problems. She's hurting Ozzy the most out of this whole thing. She's an idiot.

Lord Abortion 08-31-2005 07:16 PM

Bruce left maiden because his heart wasn't in it any more and he wanted to do something different, not because the band kicked him out for being a cunt, like Sabbath did with Ozzy.

-The Frank 09-01-2005 02:08 AM

"Kerrang!: Reading between the lines of [Iron Maiden manager] Rod Smallwood's statement, the unspoken suggestion is that you orchestrated this whole thing...

Sharon Osbourne: Of course I did. I had the PA turned on and off. And look it's not hard for someone to walk into a diehard Ozzfest crowd and say, 'Who wants to throw an egg at a rock star?' Who wouldn't wanna do that? I went out and bought 50 eggs and me and my daughter had a ****ing blast. C'mon, it's rock 'n' roll. No-one died. They'll be waiting a long ****ing time for an apology from me"

 what a bitch

-The Frank 09-01-2005 02:10 AM

kerrang : Did you confront Bruce personally about this?

Sharon :No, I didn't want to give Monkey Boy the satisfaction of thinking that he'd annoyed Ozzy. The truth is that Ozzy never heard a single note of Iron Maiden's shows, most nights he wasn't on site when the band took the stage. My husband is a prince. And you know what, he had nothing to do with this. He wouldn't stoop to something like this, but I'm a ****ing bitch and I have no problem with it.

Edit :whoops double post

Deth 09-01-2005 06:24 AM

Boycott Ozzfest!

You know it...

Actually, I have a funny tale...last night I went to t'other rock place in hull and The Trooper came on, I quickly downed my triple whiskey and coke and headbanged with many many people, the song after was Paranoid by Sabbath, and everyone disappered

Arucard 09-01-2005 06:50 AM

Lol. She thinks Bruce's solo career failed? Tryanny of Souls is the best album i've heard in so long. Makes the new wave of American Metal look like the pile of crap it is.
