yeah Resurrection of Whiskey Foote is my fav. but Mother*Teacher*Destroyer is pretty sweet too.

Rainbow - Rising is one of my favorite Dio related albums, get it if you don't have it.

You can stop on the Rainbow albums after the Dio years.

But yes, get all Dio.

i got Rising and it was awesome. i think i have Holy Diver somewhere on my laptop, need to listen to it. ill get other Dio albums soon

Finally heard Solstice's [i]Lamentations[/i] the other day, so good.

i liked that at first but after a while i couldnt listen to it.

why? did it get boring? To be honest I only had one listen, but it had me hooked moreso than pretty much all trad doom I've heard. I'll have to see how long it lasts though.

I heard one song from that album on a Metal Maniacs compilation. It was more or less a seven-minute guitar solo. But I have to admit, it was a pretty good guitar solo :D
