It's usually used in place of the word "end", but it's acceptable to use it anywhere at MX, for some reason.

Same with "++", it's just an MX thing.

yeah i know all my friends got like 28 and up, the time is really what killed me too, but i think i can raise it quite i few points if i take some classes before i take it.

It started because of jarviss' way of telling stories. e.g. :

"Hey, you'll never guess what that reminded me of. Once, when I was young, I got pushed over by some other kid, and I was all like [unhappy]"Awww, what'd you do that for?" [/unhappy], and he was like.." etc

Basically a take on tags. It's been used so much, though, and confused so badly with /me that hardly anyone uses it properly any more.

Usually people in the west take the ACTs, and in the east the SATs. It probably depends on the location of the school you're trying to get into.

*it should be [late]Hello[/late].

/me is late

^comes from the IRC command, which would show up on the screen as "*your name* is late".

/walks in late

^makes no sense at all, and it's beginning to get annoying how badly people screw it up.

++ also, it came along way before rep, from coding.
