It's usually used in place of the word "end", but it's acceptable to use it anywhere at MX, for some reason. Same with "++", it's just an MX thing. |

yeah i know all my friends got like 28 and up, the time is really what killed me too, but i think i can raise it quite i few points if i take some classes before i take it. |

Same with "++", it's just an MX thing.
it's usually used to indicate an action. and ++ is used to indicate positive rep. |

whats with the \ is that supposed to be like html? I dunno... I need a new avatar.
It started because of jarviss' way of telling stories. e.g. : "Hey, you'll never guess what that reminded me of. Once, when I was young, I got pushed over by some other kid, and I was all like [unhappy]"Awww, what'd you do that for?" [/unhappy], and he was like.." etc Basically a take on tags. It's been used so much, though, and confused so badly with /me that hardly anyone uses it properly any more. |
it's usually used to indicate an action.
and ++ is used to indicate positive rep.
I recognize that one, and also "Postcount ++" for spamming and "Overdone thread ++" for obvious reasons |

Usually people in the west take the ACTs, and in the east the SATs. It probably depends on the location of the school you're trying to get into. |
Discussion about Mx symbols++
it's usually used to indicate an action.
and ++ is used to indicate positive rep.
Hello /late ^ is a lazy way* of saying that what you said was late. *it should be [late]Hello[/late]. /me is late ^comes from the IRC command, which would show up on the screen as "*your name* is late". /walks in late ^makes no sense at all, and it's beginning to get annoying how badly people screw it up. ++ also, it came along way before rep, from coding. |
here let me try...
oh i get it /confused |
Sorry :(
Sorry :(
My apologies, I was typing up my second response while you all carried on replying, so I didn't see this. It wasn't directed at you anyway, I just happened to be quoting you. :) |

C++ is the origin of ++, as ++ indicates an increment of one. |
