Well, I actually bought the slide in March so I could play the Ænema solo, but I gave up after I failed miserably with the slide. Kind of funny how things work, huh. :p

I'm sending the solo to Ben of msn, just FYI guys.

Yeah i put it in with a little sampler of vox, i don't know if i got it in right (hehe) i couldn't get it to fit 100% for some reason...

I think the vox will be ok if i could use the mic properly, notice how it bites with the 'back the way it ought to be' but is too quiet on the 'some say a comet'

Well the only thing is it isn't perfect pitchwise on "back the way it outta be" and you hold some notes too long. But that's it.

Im adding the solo to Rob's piece now. The different tones might make for an interesting transaction

Is there anyway you can use cool edit/another program to stop the vocals from biting...I know when i look at Joz's tracks his files don't clip at all and take up the whole thingy (very unspecific but i think you'll know what i mean).

Rob- Turn down the input volume, and when you get done recording it and you have space left, just kick up the volume a bit.

Also Patient I don't think we should cut anything. Sure it may be tedious but you could just reloop the riff and besides that part of the song is what gives it it's atmosphere.

If we loop it, how would it create atmosphere? :lol: We could try both ways, but I think that if we do 2 phrases of it, it'll be good.
