Dude, he's not even cool in an uncool way. oerhgetg |
Are you saying you don't want a kiss from a rose on the grave? :o :p
As for me, I've been digging Doppelganger by The Fall Of Troy. |
Rick James
Stevie Wonder Black Flag
That's a good mix there. Woody Guthrie - Dust Bowl Ballads |
Some albums by The Microphones.
It Was Hot We Stayed in the Water, Mount Eerie, and Glow Pt. 2. I tried Little Bird Flies Into A Big Black Cloud, but it's not good. I'll give it another shot some other day. |
The Microphones are the epitome of "cult" band.
|
That's a good mix there.
Woody Guthrie - Dust Bowl Ballads
Woody is fantastic. |
The Who - Then and Now
The Who - Tommy The Who - The Who Sings My Generation |

Woody Guthrie - Dust Bowl Ballads
Hey can you or anyone please recommend me a Woodie Guthrie album? I absolutly love the first Dylan album, and everyone says hes just trying to be Woodie Guthrie, so Im really interested in checking him out. Thanks.:smash: |

That's because Guthrie was Dylan's biggest influence growing up. Get Dust Bowl Ballads, it's considered to be his best work. |

Get Dust Bowl Ballads, it's considered to be his best work.
Yeah I knew he was his influence, but if i like early dylan, and dylan is trying to sound like woodie, then 2+2 i might dig this stuff...ha, anyways thanks alot for the help. |
Sufjan Stevens - Illinois
Because I found my copy again, and for the first time I have something nice to play it on. |
Beastie Boys - Paul's Boutique
A lot of The Who "Shake Your Rump" brings me much happiness. |
Getting back into Stars and Broken Social Scene. I finally got the new BSS.
|
I finally got the new BSS.
How do you like it? I've been listening to Iron & Wine (surprise?) and Mono today. |
Not bad, kind of samey though.
|
I'm listening to Yankee Hotel Foxtrot by Wilco at this very moment and enjoying it. I can see myself loving this album in the near future.
|
Dangerdoom - The Mouse and the Mask
I wish this kind of instrumentals and rapping was more mainstream. |
I just picked up 29 by Ryan Adams. Listening through for the first time now, so far sounds pretty damn fine to me.
|
Got my hands on Perdition City at last - ch00ns.
|
^^ Mmmmm, great soundtrack.
He's right. 'Just Like Honey' from that film is, for me, the greatest movie/music moment ever. I'm feeling all depressed from work and if I had time I would watch that film. |
Stevie Wonder - Songs In The Key Of Life - Again.
Good god this album/artist is amazing. So talented and uplifting :) |
I can't stop listening to Treasure by Cocteau Twins ( By the way can someone tell me how to pronounce "Cocteau?) and its pretty damn good. The first two tracks are the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard. Thank you, Zappa's avatar.

Gov't Mule - Various Bootlegs
I <3 Warren Hayes. |
call me gay, but I'm starting to dig Protest the Hero a bit.

I would say that this is indubitable proof that you have sex with men, and thus you should be condemned by your peers for insufficient masculinity. |
does this mean i could never be a priest?
|
Gogol Bordello. So good.
