BludgeonySteve 10-21-2004 06:20 PM

I'm so getting stagefrightken to remove those and disable your avatar function.

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 06:30 PM

I thought you would be complimented.

BludgeonySteve 10-21-2004 06:33 PM

1. You aren't the opinion's whore of truth, you elitist.
2. You don't like Jeff Healey.
3. The first two are bad enough!!!!!!

Broken Arrow 10-21-2004 06:38 PM

Is guitrguy posting because I cant see any of his post?!?!?

Broken Arrow 10-21-2004 06:41 PM

nevermind .....I figured out this cruel trick.

Creedence Clearwater 10-21-2004 06:46 PM

time to again through in my 2 cents......(checks wallet).........How can I possibly be down $300

Badmoon 10-21-2004 06:53 PM
Most of American Beauty just didn't interest me.
That's surprising.

Broken Arrow 10-21-2004 06:55 PM

Yeah I was sampling of "the site" and it wasnt that good.....however I liked Working man's Dead.

Badmoon 10-21-2004 06:58 PM

Can you give us some reasons why?

BludgeonySteve 10-21-2004 06:58 PM

What's with all of the Jeff Healey/rocknotroll posers? Just because you have the avatar and the usertitle doesn't make you as good as me

And American beauty is an album that gets better every time you listen to it. Give it another chance or i'll choke you with a mullet.

Broken Arrow 10-21-2004 07:03 PM

Well maybe i'll give Mullet Magnolia another chance.

Broken Arrow 10-21-2004 07:10 PM

I like Working Man's Dead better because of : Cumberland Blues Speedway Boogie and this other song I can't reacal the name of.

I really liked those songs and I thought Uncle John's Band was good and another one I cant recall?

Badmoon 10-21-2004 07:15 PM

Well, there's plenty of good songs on each.

My favorite on American Beauty
-----------------------------
Sugar Magnolia
Ripple
Brokedown Palace
Operator

On Workingman's Dead
-----------------------------
Dire Wolf
Cumberland Blues
Easy wind
High Time

Though if you actually listen to the songs, run through the instrumental , tecnical and lyrical caulity (of each song), it's quite easy to see that each song is a 5/5 and each album is perfect.

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 07:16 PM

Casuality?

Badmoon 10-21-2004 07:19 PM

Typo, "quality". Even if you sound it out, you should be able to get it :thumb:

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 07:28 PM

Badmoon 10-21-2004 07:38 PM

who?

Badmoon 10-21-2004 07:40 PM

Big Star aren't folk.

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 07:42 PM

They got the acoustic style which is similar to folk.

Badmoon 10-21-2004 07:43 PM

They usually play electric, but I doubt you've heard much. Since you said you were just downloading.

gmoneyguy 10-21-2004 07:44 PM

Well, ya I just happened to download their acoustic stuff.

ToRidTheDisease 10-21-2004 08:00 PM

big star doesnt seem folk to me

BludgeonySteve 10-21-2004 09:28 PM

Yeah, some folk stuff but mostly electric *is downloading some stuff*

Badmoon 10-21-2004 09:30 PM

okay

I just bought Gov't Mule's "Rising Low" DVD. It's about all the guiest stars and times and such during the recordings of The Deep End serious. And is an overall biography and tribute their late bassist (who the whole Deep end is deadicated to) Allen Woody. It is documented and completley made by Mike Gordon (bassist of Phish).

The movie taught me a crap load about bass players, and playing. And especially how great some bassists like Woody, and other's are. And it's sad :(

I reccomend you all buy it!

There was little on Jack Bruce though. :p
