They got back together to make some new band called Hallowcore, but Pat left now. :-( His vocals are rad.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-29-2006 07:32 AM

I just realised Bret and I are the only remaining Titans of Thrash members!
I just realised Bret and I are the only remaining Titans of Thrash members!
What utter bollocks.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-29-2006 09:04 AM

Well you never post anymore, FagMaster.

FatalEnergy 06-30-2006 12:39 AM
So, today I discovered the glory of Morbid Saint. Jesus fucking christ they're so fucking metal!
Morbid Saint is definatley a great band, and is one of my bands biggest influences.
They got back together to make some new band called Hallowcore, but Pat left now. :-( His vocals are rad.
Yeah, it sucks Pat left, but I think they recorded a demo with him on it. They just haven't put it out yet.
I just realised Bret and I are the only remaining Titans of Thrash members!
It's because everyone else has a vagina now, so they don't post.

I probably won't be on to post until about Monday, because my band is going into the studio to cut a 5 song demo (It's going to rule). I'll post a song or two on a new Myspace profile when it's done and give you guys a link. I know you guys will dig the fuck out of it

Apocalyptic Raids 06-30-2006 12:40 AM

awesome, I definitely want to hear this.

FatalEnergy 06-30-2006 02:50 AM

Yeah, pure thrash. Although one song has quite the old school Death Metal feel to it in the riffage at times.

NP: Heathen - Dying Season

FatalEnergy 06-30-2006 02:56 AM

Speaking of Heathen. When is that new album coming out?!

Lee really needs to get back on that. It'll blow away the new Exodus.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-30-2006 03:01 AM

I don't know. They haven't even annouced whether they have been signed yet.

I can't imagine it happening for another 6 months at least. It will blow away the new Exodus for sure.

Riva 06-30-2006 05:20 AM

Maybe even the old Exodus?

Apocalyptic Raids 06-30-2006 06:08 AM

Well, the only thing that touches Bonded By Blood is Rust In Peace.

The demo is probably better than anything Exodus did post-Fabulous Disaster, though.

heavy metal kid 06-30-2006 03:59 PM

I recently bought Bonded by Blood, i still think Agent Orange is better.

MAthiAS 06-30-2006 08:10 PM

IMO there's probably a dozen thrash albums that are definitely better than BBB.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-30-2006 09:18 PM

You both disgust me

heavy metal kid 06-30-2006 09:47 PM

/Puts Agent Orange and ignores your comment.

Yeah, Bonded by Blood is great, it's in my top 10 of thrash albums.

Riva 06-30-2006 09:54 PM

I generally prefer European thrash to American, but I reckon Bonded By Blood is very good.

Anyone into Crumbsuckers in here?

Aronax 06-30-2006 09:57 PM
So, today I discovered the glory of Morbid Saint. Jesus fucking christ they're so fucking metal!
Damn skippy! Morbid Saint is great brutal thrash metal, almost sounds like death metal at some times as well. That Spectrum of Death is pretty evil sounding \m/

I have also just heard my first Bombarder track ever today, despite knowing this band for many months now. Their music is HARD to find over SoulSeek, which sucks, because this one track is enough to make me want to hear more of their stuff. :(

Bombarder - Glasnik Smrti -- Bez Milosti [03:53m/128Kbps/44KHz] - 1991

Another band I have yet to check out :(

Aren't they reuniting or something?
I generally prefer European thrash to American, but I reckon Bonded By Blood is very good.
I would probably prefer American by a small margin.

I believe they did a reuinion show this year in March. Check out the album Life of Dreams, it's a great crossover record.

Aronax 06-30-2006 10:02 PM
Anyone into Crumbsuckers in here?
Naw, I really dislike crossover thrash. Even though I respect them, I dislike their music. To each his own though! :chug:

Messiah - Choir Of Horrors -- Choir Of Horrors [04:52m/192Kbps/44KHz] - 1991

_Tyler 06-30-2006 10:09 PM

Speak for yourself. I love crossover. I've been jamming DRI, the Accused and Carnivore all week.

Apocalyptic Raids 06-30-2006 10:15 PM

I have been enjoying S.O.D. alot lately.

FatalEnergy 07-02-2006 10:57 PM

Well, we went and recorded. I pretty much have a long intresting story about the studio, but I'll save it for now. We don't have a final mastered version, and we're not going to because we eventually have to go back into the studio. These are just really really REALLY rough mixes.

Anyway. Here's my thrash band. We're going to change the name, we just don't know to what yet. 2 of the 5 songs are on there.

Riva 07-02-2006 11:29 PM

I'll give it a listen soon, definitely.

Apocalyptic Raids 07-02-2006 11:34 PM

i am totally adding u to myspace omg

man that's good stuff :thumb:

FatalEnergy 07-02-2006 11:40 PM

You'll never believe it, but we found our singer while we were in the studio. I was planning on doing vocals actually. We brought a friend into the studio to hang out and laugh at us when we screw up. We decided to mess around with the vocal tracks....and we made him do it for a gag, and he fucking nailed it first take for Burned Alive. We were suprized as hell, so we got ourselves a singer. :)

Apocalyptic Raids 07-02-2006 11:45 PM

haha, awesome.

This guy I know keeps bugging me to play bass in his Thrash band.

Bazarov 07-02-2006 11:57 PM

Man, your band is awesome. Burned Alive has such a bitchen intro. What happened to that Satan is my Shepard or what it was called? The song with the drum intro... it was pretty good.

Riva 07-02-2006 11:58 PM

That's what happened to me. Now I play bass in a thrash/speed metal band. :p

gillygan 07-03-2006 12:16 AM

Would you guys say Corporation 187 is Thrash?

Anywho they're amazing...

Riva 07-03-2006 02:54 AM

Definitely thrashy, yeah. Not too big on them, though.

Nostalgia 07-03-2006 02:56 AM

Riva, you should change your online thing so it shows when you're on. It bugs me!

Apocalyptic Raids 07-03-2006 02:58 AM

But then he loses his stealth ninja powers >:[

Nostalgia 07-03-2006 03:01 AM

Yeah, but a person should be able to rely on his superiors. Without me knowing whether Riva is online, I'm losing the ability to know if he's actually online. What if I got my account straight-up jacked, could Riva help? No. whether he's online is only within my guess.

I rest my case. :p

Riva 07-03-2006 03:08 AM

But my stealth ninja powers are all I have Austin.

Nostalgia 07-03-2006 03:38 AM

Yeah, you have ninja secrecy to your modship. :p

FatalEnergy 07-04-2006 02:29 AM
Man, your band is awesome. Burned Alive has such a bitchen intro. What happened to that Satan is my Shepard or what it was called? The song with the drum intro... it was pretty good.
Satan is my Lord & Master?

Hahah, we've still got that one. I just didn't put it up. It's called "Beyond" now.

We've come up with a final name for the band.
