"Talking about music is like dancing about architecture."

Totally awesome quote and main reason I don't post a whole lot.

So, im downloading the demo for toca race driver 3, which is nice, but i just filled out the form to register to the codemasters site to get it, and apparently im already a member, so it was all a waste of time.

Okay so last night, there was this huge bonfire at my friend Alyssa's house and she lives on a farm and she has like this HUGE barn full of all this gymast stuff. So me and a bunch of people were in there and I was on these rings and I was swinging and then my friend throws this huge thick rope, like the ones in gym class that you climb up. Well he threw it at me it hit me then it wrapped around me and on the end there is the HUGE knot and it smacked me right in the face. My nose is off center now and it hurts really bad. I don't think it is broken just really badly bruised.

Dead Star 05-06-2006 02:34 PM

Gym Class Heroes totally butchere Under The Bridge imo

poprocks&coke 05-06-2006 02:35 PM

'Sup.

Oi, hang on a minute Jamie. If you'd seen GCH, you'd think they are amazing. 'Cause they played pretty damn good at GIAN.

Dead Star 05-06-2006 02:36 PM

I like them, they just killed Under The Bridge for me.

I don't get it. =\
I don't get it. =\
It doesn't make sense and/or is pointless.

J: I agree, I didn't like the cover much.

Joel: Eh, I like the quote even if I disagree.

Chilly-Bean-Bop 05-06-2006 02:44 PM

Hey, guyuhz.

Hey, Vince, how was the rest of that partyin'?

Dead Star 05-06-2006 02:44 PM

Wonderwall is pretty good actually.

Permanent Solution 05-06-2006 02:45 PM

It was pretty sweet. We climbe the only "mountain" around here, my friends got high and I got re-drunk. Then we chilled up there for awhile, then hit up jack in the box for some dinner and then chilled in a lounge watching bad MTV shows lol.

EDIT: Yeah, I'm not a big Oasis fan but the cover wasn't too bad.

Kif didn't like that cover, but I really liked it. I love anything Cartel does though.

I couldn't watch MTV even if I was smashed.

I'm trying to find out where it came from. It's been credited to Frank Zappa, Miles Davis, Steve Martin (?), Thelonius Monk, Clara Schumann.... it's pretty ridiculous.

Hahaha, I love it when quotes are like that. Everyone says it apparently!

Hard to write those sorts of quotes into papers though lol.

Oh man Jack in the Box is the best food to have while you're drunk. Once some friends and I got a little tipsy before two of them have to perform in a choir concert, so my other friend and I grabbed some Jack's and smuggled it into the theater.

Heh yeah I think I would credit Zappa or Miles because it seems they get the most innate respect just on name recognition. I should save it and just use for every paper I have to write in music history.

Hahahaha, that's what Veronica said as well, so that's why we went there. That sounds like good times, drinking before a show and smuggling haha.

I got 6 tacos and some onion rings and it was scrumptious.

EDIT: Yeah, name respect ftw haha. Who cares about those average Joes?

That would be grand, never write papers just turn in a one line quote haha.

PDWAB 05-06-2006 02:51 PM

Haha, I think for the next percussion ensemble concert I'll have a couple 40s in my stick bag. Being a music major is so awesome.

Pazz 05-06-2006 02:52 PM

Good afternoon Pop-Punk.

I think it applies to all art majors. Todd and I are hanging out with all art majors of some form right now and it's grand, they're all so much more fun than engineers.

Dead Star 05-06-2006 02:58 PM

Jamie didnt ruin your night
