Bukowski 04-22-2006 04:24 PM

Thank you. The album sounds interesting, I'll definitely get it.

Glitterati 04-22-2006 08:37 PM

X - Los Angeles

The title track, as well as Your Phone's Off The Hook.....are awesome. I'm really getting into X lately.

I Was A Kaleidoscope 04-22-2006 08:43 PM

Elf Power - Back To The Web (this is really good.)
Ghostface Killah - Fishscale

YDload 04-22-2006 11:58 PM

Well you're the one who said an album of theirs sucks! That's a pretty bad rap to me :-/

Anyway Built To Spill sure is neat.

br3ad_man 04-23-2006 12:18 AM

I like Transatlanticism the best. It just seems to have the funnest songwriting.

I got some Indian Summer live recordings earlier today and I'm looking forward to hearing them a bit later. They sound like a good band.

pixiesfanyo 04-23-2006 12:33 AM

Indian Summer kind of sucks.

Besides, Angry Son which basically makes them an okay band because it's that good of a song.

pixiesfanyo 04-23-2006 01:08 AM
Every Indian Summer song is good. "Angry Son" is phenomenal.
False.

Every song by Kayo Dot is good though.

ATM 04-23-2006 01:21 AM

Eagles of Death Metal to' it up tonight.

YDload 04-23-2006 01:22 AM

I don't think there are any bands where every song of theirs is phenomenal. Assuming they have a minimum of, say, twenty-five songs? Is it possible?

pixiesfanyo 04-23-2006 01:36 AM
I don't think there are any bands where every song of theirs is phenomenal. Assuming they have a minimum of, say, twenty-five songs? Is it possible?
Yes,

Happymeal 04-23-2006 09:54 AM

Prince Paul - Itstrumental

What a guy.

Iron Bug 04-23-2006 09:58 AM

I'm listening to Band Of Horses, I like it a lot.

JonM 04-23-2006 10:01 AM

I'm going to revisit the old Common Sense records, because the new one tainted my perception of the old ones.

ATM 04-23-2006 10:55 AM

Do you have Electric Circus?

I'm still digging Blind Willie McTell.

JonM 04-23-2006 12:18 PM

No, I don't, and I'm going to get it right now. I have Resurrection and One Day..., and I used to have Like Water For Chocolate but it seems to have disappeared.

Zappa 04-23-2006 02:24 PM

The The - Mindbomb

Zebra 04-23-2006 02:47 PM
The The - Mindbomb
I saw a The The music video on a Beavis and Butthead once, I don't know why but I just remember it.

Nick Drake - Pink Moon
Andrew Bird - Weather Systems

Glitterati 04-23-2006 04:28 PM
Fall Out Boy - From Under The Cork Tree
/rubs eyes in disbelief

Anyway, I'm digging Alice Cooper today. Then again, when am I NOT digging Alice Cooper?

XxcheetoxX 04-23-2006 04:35 PM

Mf Doom - Vaudville Villian Its pretty good, but overrated. The beats are varied and definately not standard rap dance beats. Though the songs drag on sometimes and MF's voice isn't exactly exciting....

Glitterati 04-23-2006 04:36 PM
I downloaded Trash today so yay
Produced by Desmond Child, who also produced Bon Jovi, which I think are one of your gay glam bands

ATM 04-23-2006 05:21 PM

I can't get enough MF Doom

The Mmm..Food leftovers album is so good.

asymm 04-23-2006 05:26 PM

Tindersticks - Tindersticks
and the television show:
The Wire

Zappa 04-23-2006 05:31 PM

Been a while since I played the Prestige release Moondog by the artist of the same name. It's amazing.

Zappa 04-23-2006 05:35 PM
I can't get enough MF Doom

The Mmm..Food leftovers album is so good.
You can't spell it with 3 m's, because then it ceases to be an anagram of his name.

711 04-23-2006 06:07 PM

Tom Delounges new band Angels and Airwaves is amazing. The song "The Adventure" is incredible.

JonM 04-23-2006 06:20 PM
Been a while since I played the Prestige release Moondog by the artist of the same name. It's amazing.
I've introduced five people to Moondog since you told me about him, and every one of them has hated him. What is their problem?

Zappa 04-23-2006 06:40 PM
I've introduced five people to Moondog since you told me about him, and every one of them has hated him. What is their problem?
I don't really like the other Moondog s/t. Maybe you've been showing him that silly King Arthur soundtrack and not the really interesting earthy woodblock stuff on the other s/t?

JonM 04-23-2006 06:56 PM

No it's all the earthy stuff. That's the stuff I like too.

Zappa 04-23-2006 07:05 PM

Weird, then. I think that stuff is marvelous.

Jacaranda 04-23-2006 09:21 PM
as does this Gwen Stefani one I can't bear to listen to anymore.
Blasphemy. If you can ignore the horrible lyrics its pretty good.

BillCosby 04-23-2006 09:21 PM

Not even "Bubble Pop Electric"? That song is dope. But everything else is meh or below meh.

ManK 04-23-2006 09:44 PM

Recently stole my friends Ipod, and I've really rediscovered Billy Talent, kickass band out of the South Ontario music scene, really good stuff, dwnld (or buy if you haven't already) their album, you will not be disappointed.

YDload 04-23-2006 09:53 PM

Nobody likes Billy Talent and you're a faggot for stealing an iPod.

BillCosby 04-23-2006 09:57 PM

I've been digging Against Me!

I don't know if I should put a period after that.

Yes! I love them.

Anyhow, I think Liam Lynch's Fake Songs is a sweet album. His "Fake Depeche Mode Song" is brilliant.

JonM 04-24-2006 10:44 AM

Yeah, still digging Common. Electric Circus is wonderful.
