its an archive file with MP3s in it, a couple of songs are missed off, but it's got the power cuts and Bruce's rants in it.

Guitar Pro has the bass tab for Blood Brothers. Don't know how accurate it is though.

And as a side note, your name is the name of an AC/DC tribute band.

ashman 08-29-2005 05:44 PM

Blood Brothers is practically Em, G, C, D. with a few exceptions.

I'll try and record it for ye...

It was bass, he asked about Steve....

I tried recording, but my cable of life died on me. I thinking during the verse after "In a movement he beckons to me..." is Em, G,C, D strummed....

Lord Abortion 08-29-2005 06:05 PM

I know it probably has been said a lot of times before. But the drummer is amazing.

I always thought he used a double bass pedel.

IronMcMaiden 08-29-2005 06:30 PM

Nicko is too good for double bass pedals.

Huber 08-29-2005 06:37 PM
Nicko is too good for double bass pedals.
Double bass is very skill intensive. Shhhh.

the_uber_penguin 08-29-2005 06:38 PM

In other news, I saw Maiden at Reading. The crowd were unbelievable, I never thought I'd see Bruce look lost for words, ever (I think that was just before Remember Tomorrow). I heard Bruce can be arrogant and agressive and generally a bit of a **** between songs (I hear a lot of RiR was cut for that reason) but he didn't show it last night. I dragged my friend (who hates Maiden) to see them with me, and now have a convert, although he's still annoyed at missing Bloc Party, he does now think Maiden rock. He did say to me after the show:
Bruce seemed to like saying "Scream for me Reading" a lot. It should be his catchphrase".
I showed him Screamforme.com when we got back.

The Trooper or Hallowed Be Thy Name were highlights for me. Dave looked so cute dancing around the stage. I wanted to put him in my pocket and take him home with me (and get guitar lessons from him). I also groped Iggy Pop's ass. I mention this because I'm a straight guy, and worried about both the Davery and Iggy thing.

The crowd were best during Run To The Hills, but that really doesn't suprise me. Running Free was awesome though, with the singalong bit.

I haven't slept in 42 hours. Goodnight.

Lord Abortion 08-29-2005 06:51 PM

so...you're worried about the wanting to shag guys thing...but not the penguin obsession? :p

AB/CD 08-29-2005 06:53 PM
And as a side note, your name is the name of an AC/DC tribute band
yeah i no its an AC/DC tribute band but i became known as AB/CD round my school cos of my love of AC/DC and they kept saying the band couldnt spell lol.

see i cant hear the bass during verse so i get confused as **** and i figured hey load of people here play bass y not ask some1 to record it for me thne i can learn it from that

ashman 08-29-2005 07:08 PM

Those aren't really big words... Don't get me started on sciencey words....

Uber Penguin....those are the chord (E5 or Em on the Bass is E and B .etc) , Mr. Steve does strum for for half of the verse and fingers the chords for the first half and strums for the chorus...

Arrakakaka 08-29-2005 07:10 PM
