The guitar parts in RTL are probly my favorite to play right now, that or ktulu. They are both amazingly fun.

The best part about playing ktulu is after u switch to distortion and u play the clean parts palm muted.

I don't really like practice, I just pick up the guitar and just keep playing. I can't get too much further in skill, but I just keep writing things that make sense. I need another guitar teacher...I wanna get better

Ktulu is my second favorite Metallica Song. The part that I like
is the intro and the fills that kirk does when james does
his power chord thing.

Well (a little selfless promotion not spam) I do have a thread on
here called Heavy Metal Guitar that u could look up. I also
have a college professor that kicks @$$ on guitar and shows me
cool s*** all the time. (Like insane sweep taps that I'll probably never
get down.) Maybe you could enroll at Musicians Institutes GIT program
(I hear that EVH did)

I've never really been a fan of punk music, but there are a couple bands that I do
like. (Ramones for one.)

w/ some friends that i jam w/ but come to find out they all suck

It is so annoying because usually if some one wants to play an instrument, they usually go to guitar... ( at least the people I know do)..
There is one "bassist" I can think of that I know well, but he has never played a bass before:rolleyes: ... he just has a guitar, and (hopefully) he is going to buy a bass.

That woul be pretty cool. We never have much good stuff on the radio, except for classic rock some weeknights. They do over-play Enter Sandman though.

Ya we've got mandatory Metallica in Winnipeg, MB on a radio station. It's awesome. They usually play pre-black album material to which is a huge plus :thumb:

Ya Fade to Black and the Unforgiven get some airtime every now and then but those 4 are basically the meat of the metallica here.

in the UK you dont get much metallica on regular radio, you get a bit on digital radio. on kerrang! tv they play enter sandman, i disappear, nothing else matters, one. on other channels they still play st. anger and until it sleeps.
