so get an external program to convert it....not a huge deal really.

i know but its annoying...i was using SX3 before i only switched because you can't save projects with it. It wasn't a big deal really because i always recorded and eq'd in one go...but i was recording a song with my band and my dad shut my comp off and 4 hours of work was gone.

I guess i can take converting things in exchange for being able to save.

well,i use a chain of programs to rip, convert and burn DVD's, so its just common place for me :P

what program do you suggest for converting wav to MP3...preferably one that doesnt have a conversion limit.

I've tried Xillisoft and Smartwav Converter when i converted it both had no sound :confused:

i dont have a program for that actually. i havent had a need to convert to/from audio formats yet.

but i'm sure it wouldnt be hard to find a program and get a crack...its how i get everything else :P

the last one i just downloaded converted it and all...but it sounds like ***. It crackles every time i hit my bass drum

The one that comes with Creative MP3 players works well

yes...everything else sounded perfect except that

try a lossless codec (Ogg, or FLAC)

i know when i had my demo i posted a while ago, it went from wav to mp3 (@ 320kbps)

i noticed a lot more high end in the audio track.

maybe expieriment with tweaking EQ a bit and then converting.
