Ok, so I've been debating this with myself for a while now. I can't decide if Darkest Hour are metalcore or melodeath, or whatever other subgenre someone can throw at them. I really wanna say metalcore, but they have alot more melody than most metalcore bands. And they're really not death metal so I can't say melodeath. And I definitely don't think they're deathcore because like I said, they're not really death metal.

they were melodeath with their last few but now the melody is taking precedence so i'd say like, melodic metal or something equally made up, i donno. hyper-melo death. metalcore is only apt early early in their discography.
