jrowa001 09-23-2008 01:05 AM

hell yeah great song. such a consistently in your face album

beans 09-23-2008 01:07 AM

jsut thinking the same thing, the melody in the middle of culture of fear fits so well with the song its astounding

jrowa001 09-23-2008 01:09 AM

love that part! now i have to listen to it haha, probably tomorrow though since im a bit too tired to enjoy a metal album right now

beans 09-23-2008 01:11 AM

lol blasphemy!

jrowa001 09-23-2008 01:12 AM

lol yeah im too tired right now to stay up for that. im about to put on a folk album or something and fall asleep

beans 09-23-2008 01:14 AM

for sure, i always put on damnation by opeth and usually by closure im ****in out

jrowa001 09-23-2008 01:16 AM

good album to sleep to. im thinking of putting on some Nick Drake tonight, its been a while the 2 of us have slept together. then tomorrow morning when i wake up, Vulcanus full blast

beans 09-23-2008 01:21 AM

haha bright and early, make everyone else listen to it with you

and some nick drake is ace

beans 09-23-2008 01:27 AM

holy **** gates to nowhere has some intense riffage and some great melodies
i wanna thank you for reminding me of this album man!

and they sound kinda like melodeath to me
with some small metalcore influences

and lastly, the drumming on this album is absolutely insane

jrowa001 09-23-2008 01:28 AM

for sure, its def a metalcore tinged melodic death metal album. the drumming is what initially turned me on to the band. the drum/riff combo on that album is some of my fav in metal

beans 09-23-2008 01:31 AM

for real, this guy can play

would love to see these guys live

JonG 09-23-2008 01:01 PM

blankness is very sick

:)

GERMANS UNITE

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 02:50 PM

Was listening to Agraceful today, not bad quasi-metalcore stuff. Generic but good.

Xplisit 09-23-2008 02:52 PM

isn't the former emarosa vocalist in that band?

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 02:55 PM

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

Volt2187 09-23-2008 07:03 PM

I just listened to Architects today, and wished I would have discovered them sooner. So good. Whenever I heard Architects, I thought of the US band, Architect, which is pretty meh.

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 07:11 PM

Actually they are both pretty good, but now is a good time to get into Architects cause their first US tour is happening either now or soon. I'm seeing them next month.

HighandDriving 09-23-2008 07:12 PM

^ I had that same feeling.

I have high hopes for Architects new album, won't be as good as Nightmares but hopefully they step it up from Ruins.

Architects haven't toured the US yet?
I saw em in Toronto, don't know why they'd hit up Canada and not the States.

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 07:13 PM

Both albums are awesome IMO, but I'm certainly looking forward to the new one and some progression.

Xplisit 09-23-2008 07:26 PM

ive only heard Nightmares, but i love it. if the new album is on that same level, i'll be very impressed. im seeing them when they start that tour, if they havent already

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 07:27 PM

Get Ruin dude! It's amazing!

ekajsk8er 09-23-2008 07:29 PM

wait, the architect from syracuse?

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 07:32 PM

No. Architects from the UK.

ekajsk8er 09-23-2008 07:56 PM

nooo the architect you guys were talking about a few posts up from america, is that the one from syracuse?

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 08:04 PM

It might be. All Is Not Lost is the album I have by them.

Edit: Yeah that's them.

jrowa001 09-23-2008 08:06 PM

new In This Moment video is up on their myspace. good song and Mariah's clean vocals are really good. no screams in the song either, wonder how much there will be on the new album

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 08:06 PM

Meh, I think I'll go watch it without the audio, lol.

Dang this computer wont let me!

jrowa001 09-23-2008 08:09 PM

thats a shame since she looks mighty tasty. she needs to stop having a doll's dress on all the time. maybe some skimpy lingerie will be nice

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 08:11 PM

Or normal clothes so she's not a gimmick.

jrowa001 09-23-2008 08:18 PM

lol true even though they werent really a gimmick when they first started but its inevitable when you get more popular. she used to wear tight jeans and a sexy shirt when they were an unsigned band

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 08:24 PM

yeah I prefer realness over the doll dress thing.

jrowa001 09-23-2008 08:26 PM

youre in the band **** U All right? i saw your album in a deathcore thread, not too bad :) or am i thinking of someone else?

Dimmu Burger 09-23-2008 08:31 PM

Yeah that's me. I put our album in a bunch of blogs. We got like 1150 downloads so far. It's great!

jrowa001 09-23-2008 08:38 PM

thats awesome man, congrats on that! Retribution is a killer song. i got it off the Deathcore is Sexy blog

adb 09-23-2008 08:42 PM

that blog is good
