Do you claim those as yours or do you spend minutes thinking them up?
I claim them as mine because I spent minutes thinking them up. Yes?

The Great Decay 04-17-2006 08:46 PM

Radiohead - OK Computer

Tangy zizzle 04-17-2006 08:48 PM

Yeah I dig. Does it take long to come up with them?

YDload 04-17-2006 08:59 PM

Easy enough! Plus I once came up with the trio of Modest Mouse On Mars Volta

Robert Crumb 04-17-2006 09:07 PM

Modest Mouse On Mars Volta Do Mar. Yay!

Heard a couple songs from the new Fiery Furnaces. Ok, I guess. I wish I wasn't so down on everything new I hear lately. I should probably just spend more time with the stuff.

The Great Decay 04-17-2006 09:29 PM

I desperately need some new music.

Check out Peter Gabriel.

Then again, I say that to everyone.

ThaFleastyler 04-17-2006 10:04 PM

Wow, so Pearl Jam are back on form as far as I'm concerned. It's a bit inconsistent (Like any PJ album other than Vs.), but that first track is so orgasmic.
I desperately need some new music.
Get Scott Walker's - The Drift.
Get Scott Walker's - The Drift.
Not to be confused with Scott Stapp.

YDload 04-18-2006 01:41 PM

The Dismemberment Plan's Emergency And I sure is a good album! I'm listening to it twice in a row now and it's a lot of fun. Who would have thought that there would be two great bands named "Di_________ Plan?"

Zappa 04-18-2006 01:47 PM

I need a new album or band/artist to obsess over. I never know what to listen to lately.

I downloaded the Peeping Tom leak yesterday, so far it's pretty sweet. "Your Neighborhood Spaceman" especially. It reminds me so much of Mr. Bungle's "Retrovertigo".

The Drones.

You would like them. If I can still keep up with what you dig.

I'm halfway through this album, and I'm still not sure what I think of it exactly. It is defintely not what I had expected.
Idaho rules. I didn't know anyone here liked them.
Yeah, I've had Hearts of Palm for a couple years, and only just recently purchased Three Sheets to the Wind. How would you compare their other albums to these?

asymm 04-18-2006 09:45 PM

Oh okay, I'm thinking of looking into their debut just because it's supposed to be so different. Supposedly a record that's significantly more harsh, but still maintains his melancholic style. Seems like it could be pretty interesting.

JonM 04-18-2006 10:09 PM

I Was A Kaleidoscope 04-19-2006 02:02 AM

Camera Obscura - Underachievers Please Try Harder (very Belle & Sebastian-esque, but I'm sure they're tired of hearing that. it's still good anyway. "I should be suspended from class, I don't know my elbow from my ***".)
The Stooges - Fun House
Regurgitate - Hatefilled Vengeance (haha, this is rediculous. gurgle gurgle)
The Notwist - Neon Golden

br3ad_man 04-19-2006 02:21 AM

I'm listening to the new Streets. Has anyone else heard it yet? It's up on myspace. On first listen it's nowhere near as good as the last two. Seems pretty good though.

Tangy zizzle 04-19-2006 04:04 AM

yeah I've listened. It's got some gems.

I Was A Kaleidoscope 04-19-2006 04:38 AM
