Lots and lots of Electric Wizard. Mostly the first 3 albums, but a little bit of everything overall.
And also Dead Meadow. Shivering King and Others and Feathers. I needs to get me some more of their albums. |

Fantastic. I can't wait to hear what they come up next. |

I actually got into Rage Against the Machine again, it's kind of odd but I'm really liking Renegades and the Self titled right now. How I Could Just Kill a Man is pretty amazing and most of the riffs are really fun to learn on guitar.

You should learn "Killing In The Name." That's one of the most fun songs I ever learned, but I haven't played it in probably four years, and I don't remember it all now. I know it's in drop D though.

Thee Silver Mount Revees - Live In Paris
(Spanking fresh new material, and it's amazing. AMSZ never sounded better. Their new cd will rule everything) Jose Gonzalez - Veneer (Devendra Banhart without the freaky bits. If you like Sun Kil Moon you will love this) World's End Girlfriend - The Lie Lay Land and thanks to JonM's avy, I'm currently listening to Matisyahu - Live At Stubbs and recalling how great that man was when I saw him live. |

I've had it for a long time. It's a great album. I usually don't like things like it, but it's such a group of solid songs. Plus his voice is fantastic. |

I havn't played any 'riff rock' on guitar in ages so it's kind of refreshing to play this stuff.

Meh, the Cypress Hill version was just fine. But RATM has the best riffs ever, and they're always doubled by the bass so they're fun for me to learn as well. Know Your Enemy = the best riff ever. |

Yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay yay Every time I hear that album for the rest of my life, and it will be many times, I will remember this semester in vivid detail. |

Every time I hear that album for the rest of my life, and it will be many times, I will remember this semester in vivid detail.
I wasn't diggin' it a whole lot at first, but last night I put it on before falling asleep. It worked much better in that situation. Dig+. But there wasn't much dig on the Cripple Crow I put on right after that, other than a few songs. Methinks I need to check out some more of his older stuff. |

I think so. I think I'll just put it on repeat for the rest of the afternoon. |
The Who - Tommy
Pere Ubu - The Modern Dance |

Folk with a nice dose of ambience. |
