I have winter vacation this week. I am so hardcore I skipped school Friday to make it even longer, and to avoid bringing my report card home for vacation. I made honors last quarter, but this quarter [i]every[/i] grade dropped (none failing)

Anyways....
I was bored tonight, so I decided to watch MTV because they had an hour or so dedicated to today's rock music where they actually played music! called All Things That Rock. It was horrible. All the bands sound the same. All that wannabe "emo" crap, with the same drum beat, simple and fast guitar playing and lyrics about your girlfriend. And all the lead singers go for the high pitch feminine tone to their voice. Jesus, let your balls drop and scream! No, that doesn't mean blow smoke out of your as[i]s[/i] like some possessed nu metal poser. ITS ALL THE SAME. HOLY FU[i]C[/i]K IS IT THE WORST MUSIC I HAVE HEARD IN MY LIFE. You see, I haven't watched MTV or payed attention to the mainstream in ages to really know how bad it is. Although, I like that Evanescence song "My Immortal". Yea, I do, so what? Then I was kind of surprised when I saw some new Blink-182 song called "I Miss You" It was interesting, because I figured it would be the same everything else, but it was way different. I didn't really like it, but it kind of interested me. All in all: today's rock is the worse then hair metal. And now I shall remain MTV free for another 5 years. Somebody wake me when this nightmare is over.
