Liesssssss!

Spaceman Spiff 07-12-2006 08:58 PM

I was watching some classic Batman a few days ago, the one with Adam West. That is a fantastic show.

They were battling the Mad Hatter, he had Robin tied up and Batman was covered in plaster. They finally escape when the police show up and help them, and this is what is said, Batman has the greatest line of all time:
Robin: "Wow, Batman! I've seen you escape from near impossible things, but this plaster tomb was impossible to escape from!"
Batman: "It was much easier than it seemed, Robin. I simply held my breath."

 Dude, you won't get banned for it. Hell, I hate banning people anyway.

So today, I was in Cambridge (a city just outside of Boston where Harvard and MIT are) in Harvard Square and I saw some dude get stabbed. It was intense. This guy was walking down the street when out of no where this other dude just runs up to him, screaming, with a knife raised, jams it into his shoulder, and then sprinted away...

I called 911 and the cops and stuff game. The dude's shoulder was messed up. I had to give a description and everything.

Pickle: Seen it...not really that funny. Maddox's stuff usually is, though.

I think the whole "emo kid cutting wrists and being depressed" shtick is really old now. It was funny in like...2003...it's completely dead now. I want the next trend to come so people will stop associating me with those morons. :(

Oh shi, I was in Harvard Square when I was up there a few weeks ago...

Craaaaazy.

bottlerocket 07-12-2006 09:33 PM

Didn't their bassist quit or something? He was pretty good. His custom Fender looked great, too.

Paul: I'm always in Harvard Square. I practically live in Cambridge/Boston. I'm there everyday.

I still hate Boston, though.

-Gav

PaulSimonon 07-12-2006 09:33 PM

Yeah, he left and now I doubt they'll be as good...

nicatterberry 07-12-2006 09:34 PM

Yeah I'm pretty sure they have a different bassist now.

Not only did his Fender look great, it sounded amazing.

Well, I gotta do what I gotta do (I have a job to do). If someone clearly breaks a major rule (racism, posting inappropriate pics, etc.), I'll ban them. if someone's spamming, they'll usually get a few warnings before hand. Usually I give warnings.

I'm all about community. :thumb:

Click quote, type your response, then copy (or cut) all the text out and go back to the page you were viewing, quote another user, then copy the stuff above the quote you just did and then proceed to write a response to a second quote, know what I mean?

I'm so stereotypical today, though, I will admit that. I'm wearing:

Tight jeans (28x30 straight fit from The Gap)
A tight shirt t-shirt that's black and white striped
Black Converse Chuck Taylors

:(

I like my style, though. It's not too trendy but I get the look I want.
