sacrifice93.2 03-23-2004 01:58 PM

As long as we're doing names and locations, I'm Micah, and I'm from Illinois in the Good old U.S. of A.

Oh, GPB, how about the Anthrax logo and the lineup I told you about. That file size should be small enough.

Girl-Playing-Bass 03-23-2004 02:00 PM

sure thang. just not right now :-*

sacrifice93.2 03-23-2004 02:04 PM

^^Your avatar makes me wish I was a member of Slayer.

sacrifice93.2 03-23-2004 02:07 PM
since no1 answered my question before....

what is your favourite thrash song to play (if youplay an instrument) and what instrument do you play?
My favorite Thrash song to play is one that I wrote, so I guess that doesn't count. My favorite cover of a Thrash song is either Master of Puppets, because I play in a 3 guitar solo during the instrumental, or I Am The Law, because I love the lyrics. I'm a vocalist, for those who don't know.

LordDargon 03-23-2004 02:22 PM

Lol sacrifice "^^Your avatar makes me wish I was a member of Slayer."

Anyways I'm getting this girl I know into thrash. Heres what she said about these songs I told her to listen to

Cryptopsy - Phobophile "I love the song but not the vocals"
Dying Fetus - Pissing in the Mainstream (She didn't like it, a bit too atonal)
Sodom - Agent Orange "Pretty good, very melodic"

I have to listen to Agent Orange, I've still only heard stuff off Persecution Mania. It is that melodic?

ktululu 03-23-2004 02:26 PM

I play lead i lie to play old tallica and megadeth n stuff. and sodom stuff now agent orange is great fun to play. thankyou so much whoever recommended sodom earlier on they made my life so much better. i gotta play MoP solo in music tomorrow i will mess up :upset: i can play some slayer but kerry king solos are way too crazy for me (read that as im not good enuf to play them :) ) I turn 14 in september bin playing guitar since 10. And on the subject of names im billy!

ATC 03-23-2004 02:27 PM
^ I love that song... did they steal the riffs for it? That would suck...
the riff was written by dave mustaine.
he used a similar riff in one of megadeth's songs too.
the call of the ktulu's was mustaine's ,dammit.
and metallica won the grammy for it,how ironic.

sacrifice93.2 03-23-2004 02:29 PM

I guess so, but I don't really know. I'm not much for it. Tell this girl about Exodus and Testament. Then ask her if vocals or guitars matter to her. If it's vocals, go with Metallica and Anthrax, and if guitars, then Slayer and Megadeth.

Sacrifice: I'll show her this post (she's trying to join mx but she hasn't got a Confirm e-mail yet) but the problem is, I can't find any mp3's of those bands. And her downloader is a total **** pile, it doesn't even have Slay ****ing er.

I didn't mean to leave out Hell Awaits... could you redo it with Hell Awaits between LU and RIB please? And put a MX Titans of Thrash (RiP) on it? Looks cool nonetheless.

LordDargon 03-24-2004 09:31 AM

Probably are, I just like the extremely "evil" feeling of BD and MV.

superpeer 03-24-2004 09:54 AM

I wonder, the testament album
practice what you preach, wouldn't it be more logical if it was written with an 's'. Practise what you preach?

Anyway, can you thrashheads recommend me some testament songs?

sacrifice93.2 03-24-2004 10:39 AM

GPB, You f*cking rule.

\m/  \m/

Girl-Playing-Bass 03-24-2004 10:40 AM

Oh well, what can i say..

sacrifice93.2 03-24-2004 10:44 AM

^Speaking of Slayer, I might get to see them live this summer. Thank god for Ozzfest. Priest and Slipknot are on the same tour, so it will be an awesome show.

Girl-Playing-Bass 03-24-2004 10:50 AM

Awesome!
I'll be seeing Slayer this june (Dynamo open air festival, also Life of Agony, Nightwish, Children of bodom etc.)

And I'm gonna see Priest this june too (Arrow rock festival, also Motörhead, Yes, Ten years after, G3, Alice Cooper etc)

w00t!

LordDargon 03-24-2004 10:51 AM

I suck at seeing bands :(

sacrifice93.2 03-24-2004 11:18 AM

Poor Guy. I'll post set lists for both bands when I get back. I'm leaving Ozzfest after Priest gets off the stage.

Girl-Playing-Bass 03-24-2004 11:26 AM

as you should

sacrifice93.2 03-24-2004 11:38 AM
