dudes last nights south park was amazing anyone else catch it? i just watched it online after two eye of the hawks and the roor...don't think i've ever laughed out loud that much at a tv show

breakfast of champions
I don't get to watch it that often, but was it the one where Stan cheats with his pinewood derby car and accidentally achieves warp speed, forcing aliens to make contact?

Jaded 04-16-2009 02:32 PM

yeah totally

Efrim 04-16-2009 02:34 PM
i've got tomatoes and chilies going, so i guess i'm gonna have to be vigilante. there's usually a lot of people around my house, so it's really uncommon for animals like deer to pass through, this morning was just a little more quiet than most.
They see you when you're sleeping.
I mean eat.
and I mean plants, not you.

That sounds pretty boring, tbqh. But if you can tolerate it, and it pays decently... giver.

Personally, the prospect of having to find a job to hold down for the next year is not particularly appealing.

Its nothing I particularly mind, there will also be research work involved for various programs that the centre runs, and I like doing research. Website writing can actually be enjoyable.
On the plus side: $15/hour, and I can stay rent-freeeee with my brother, who is within walking/biking/longboarding distance.

FunkMetalBass 04-16-2009 02:44 PM
yeah totally
It was pretty epic. I got many a-good laughs out of it.

"Yeah, I'm on the phone with the world leaders right now. Hey any of you guys seen the space cash? yeah, nobody in the world has seen it. Sorry."

"Mexico, I said no more water parks!"

"Finland, can we talk in private for a minute? Ok guys, I think it's obvious we need to take out Finland."

"Finland?! Oh my gosh! Somebody should tell Norway, they were pretty close..."

"Christian Rock Hard" is still my all-time favorite episode.

Nice. I'll be lucky to scrape up $9-10/hour. Sigh.

Truth!

BenJammin 04-16-2009 03:02 PM

Jesse, you should help me write my take-home exam. How much feminist criticism/theory have you read?

Efrim 04-16-2009 03:03 PM

Some amount between 0 and 0.

BenJammin 04-16-2009 03:06 PM

We're about on par, then.

Efrim 04-16-2009 03:10 PM

Hmmm, alright then.
What's the topic?

BenJammin 04-16-2009 03:13 PM

It's a multitude of quotations, and I have to explain their contextual significance, and how they relate to other works.

Efrim 04-16-2009 03:13 PM

Hit me up with one.

BenJammin 04-16-2009 03:18 PM

Haha. I was just kidding.

In any case, I've gotta go eat supper and then write an exam on macroeconomics.

Yeah, I was going to give you a paragraph from my linguistics textbook as an answer.

DaveSavesTheDay 04-16-2009 06:40 PM

I went to an RCMP career presentation today - it was actually pretty interesting.

I'm strongly considering going ahead with the application process.

Spaceman Spiff 04-16-2009 09:02 PM

I started reading The Hitchhikier's Guide To The Galaxy today. It's had me laughing a ridiculous amount.

:amaze: 04-16-2009 09:03 PM
