hey i was just listening to Al The Killer, and i was just wondering, in the chorus or whatever it is, after claudio says "when i kill her, ill have her" and "die what girls, die white girls" what is the screaming being said in the backround? is it real words, or just screaming? thanks

Dance upon the graves of the dead, dance upon your name.

Fish 08-29-2005 04:17 PM

penolope? saosin did a cover for a song called penolope, was this a cover of CoCa?

Gnarmageddon 08-29-2005 04:19 PM

No. The EP is just titled Penelope. There's no song.

And I have no idea when it was released.

Does the Penelope EP have anything to do with the storyline of the Co&Ca albums?

Eh, not really.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-29-2005 05:09 PM

Ya, people say that it can be kind of used as a sort of prologue but I don't know. The Penelope EP was relased in 2000.

Fish 08-29-2005 05:21 PM

is it good?

DepthsOfDreams555 08-29-2005 05:40 PM

Ya, but not even as close to as good as Second Stage Turbine Blade or In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth 3

Gnarmageddon 08-29-2005 05:41 PM

Yeah, it's alright.

Fish, do you want it? I can upload it, or you can IM me.

Fish 08-29-2005 05:47 PM

Gnarmageddon 08-29-2005 05:48 PM

Edit: Ok, I'll upload it to YSI right now.

It's not a prologue. Trust me. Except for the Delerium Trigger EP, which is actually demos of songs off of SSTB. But the Penelope EP has nothing to do with the storyline.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-29-2005 07:31 PM

Well, I didn't mean prologue well I guess I did because thats what I said but people say that it has ties to the story, I read it all over the place.

Spectrum 08-29-2005 08:23 PM
No, but I'm pretty sure that is right.
It's pretty much right, though I usually hear "dance upon your head" the second time. I'll have to listen more carefully.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-29-2005 08:25 PM

Well I guess its whatever you feel like hearing it really doesn't matter.

Spectrum 08-29-2005 08:27 PM

One of the problems with the Internet is that once a rumor starts, their's no way for it to get stopped before it hits big and no way to truly kill it. I've heard/read so many interpretations of things all over the Web that I knew had to be wrong, so it's possible that someone make a falacious statement or made some assumptions and posted them, and then a lot of people passed this rumor on until it became accepted by some as fact.

Basically, don't believe what you read on the Internet. Unless it's Wikipedia.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-29-2005 08:33 PM

Ya, but you also have to understand that some of these people spend all their free time picking and trying to figure out this story. I realize what you mean and ya it happens a lot, but I'm just saying some people are crazy about this.

Spectrum 08-29-2005 10:27 PM

Very true indeed, DOD. If I had any sort of free time that I didn't spend here or on my instruments, I'd probably try to compile resources on the story and figure it out.

DepthsOfDreams555 08-30-2005 05:58 AM

Ya, tell me about it I got barley any free time.

TMA 08-30-2005 08:42 PM

I think other than buying a comic, or going to either coheedandcambira.com or cobaltandcalcium.com , songmeanings.net has got to be one of the best places for translations of the songs into the storyline.
