Oh, I will be the first to admitt that I have insecurity issues. (mark it on your calander, a girl is admitting insecurity :lol: )

Mine stem from my childhood. And of course, are worsend by my depression. I don't think I'm pretty, I don't think I'm a good person, I am afraid people will abandon me (which is sort of a real fear because I've been abandoned by people, in an emotional and mental way.. not physically)...

I do want to say, that just because someone has insecurities, doesn't mean that .... I am not going to word this very well because I can't think... like, just because someone has baggage.. which we all have, doesn't mean that you are justified in ditching them. Unless the insecurities are continually ruining the relationship.

You GF has every right to be insecure, considering people have cheated on her.. do you know how that makes a person feel? It doesn't have anything to do with you really.. it has to do with her and how people have treated her. I don't know how long you guys have been together... and it seems like you have some other issues there... so I can't be too insightful..

Geez- first the heart attack, then the colon cancer, then the gall bladder, now this. It's been an interesting last 12 months...

I know how you feel, sweetie. From what I've seen you sound like a really sweet person. The career you are picking just shows it. Anyone who cares enough about others to make that they're career is a good person. Especially because the individuals you are going to be helping have usually been outcast by the rest of society.
