That amused me. I mean, it summed up most every d-beat band: band name startes with "dis", a song consists of three lines done in a gruff voice, and the snare and bass drum sound the same (I know he just drumming on the table with his hands, thats the point).

Yep, it would. Subvert has one d-beat song and that's enough. But it's really cool d-beat: it's d-beat with Filth-like vocals.

I actually almost started a d-beat band with a couple of my friends, but it didn't happen. They don't really like d-beat. I dunno why, I think it's pretty good.

Not as boring as listening to it. I love Discharge, but honestly, it's the same song over and over again.

Has anyone heard of Resistant Culture? I was on myspace and they wanted to add me as a friend and I checked them out and they are decent so I added them. If you have heard of them what do you think?

I'm going to see BORN/DEAD and Regulations tonight in Berkeley. It's gonna be a sick show, especially since it's at the Gilman: the sickest venue ever. You get in's and outs, you can smoke inside, it's already trashed so dancing and anything else is okay, and you can get away with drinking and smoking pot inside the venue.
