I've always thought that boxers are really cool. Maybe when we get another dog we'll get a boxer.

Short hair, playful, lots of drool. Good stuff.

A lot of the dogs I like a lot are pretty high maintenance like Border Collies and Newfoundlands.

I've always grown up with labs though and they're awesome dogs, although I also really want a Siberian Husky someday...

Taking care of a dog can be a pain in the ass in the first 2 years but then when they're calm they're way easier as long as you exercise them a few times a day and stuff.

because if it's just your parents I can understand where your opinions are coming from

theres too much risk involved with kids, you can train them all you want but when they're out of your hands they'll probably do stupid shit and use you as walking atm machine

least with dogs they won't betray you ever, they just have to be trained and you're set. I would only get one if I had someone who did all the work - I'm not cleaning up shit, buying food/feeding them, brushing their teeth and cleaning them. Fucking waste of time
