I'm getting an electric soon (american strat), but eventually I'm going to need an acoustic electric, cause right now my acoustic sucks. I was thinking about an Ovation celebrity. Any thoughts?

My friend played one at Guitar Center and really liked it, so it seems like a good choice.

Ya know, I was going to get Workingman's Dead, but Ac/dc- Dirty Deeds Done Dity Cheap seemed more attractive at the time.

I heard one of their songs yesterday and I really liked it. Something about "taking off a load and giving it to me," along the lines of that. I wouldn't mind getting some recommendations as well. Although I do have "The Last Waltz".

The Band is great. I saw a movie a few weeks ago it was on at like two in the morning, I can't remember what it was called, it was really old and it was almost like a documentary and it had a lot of footage of The Band and also Clapton. It was cool. Does anyone know what movie I'm talking about?

Might have been The Last Waltz. That's the one I have. It had like a ton of people on it, though.

Rock of Ages is a great CD. My dad was at one of the concerts where it was recorded.

Is anyone here a fan of U2? I realize they might not be considered Classic Rock to some people, because they started in the 80's, but i think they are a great band.

Last night i was high, and Beautiful Day came on the radio, and it was then i realized how amazing they are. Anyone else really like U2?
