Naw Dance Of December Souls is the only good old Katatonia and Viva Emptiness and The Great Cold Distance are awesome.

i love brave Murder Day, but i prefer new Katatonia to old

Simple explanation for that. It was written in the band's first incarnation in the early 80s. It's my favourite Pagan Altar record too. Having said that I love "Rising of the Dark Lord" off M&M - almost enough to make that my favourite album.

Pretty much all of the songs on M&M are elite as hell.
