I'm missing a lot of the DVDs :(

I just never have enough money.

eug008 10-11-2006 02:45 AM

I prefer buying DVD's>CD's for some reason. I spose they give the band more cash anyway.

Inkstar 10-11-2006 06:25 AM

MWHAHAHAH.

jpshortstuff 10-11-2006 07:12 AM

ghettoeddo 10-11-2006 08:21 AM

charity fund for MX members w/o Cd's/DVD's!

haha

jpshortstuff 10-11-2006 08:27 AM

^^haha yeah

i know it would take a bit longer but how about a charity fund for MXers without a JP sig 7-string MusicMan?

ghettoeddo 10-11-2006 08:34 AM

then put me in there too
that's hwat i REALLY wanted...but it took way too long and so i went out adn bought a 6-string...and now im lookig for a 7-string somewhere near as decent with a tremolo...and i kinda regret shellin out all my money for a 6-string whne i could have a 7-string by now.

i think ill hvae to settle w/ the ibanez RG1527.. :(

jpshortstuff 10-11-2006 08:37 AM

haha, like JP would use a RG1527
im so  i have the same initials as JP. also, many great guitarists names begin with J: JP, Satch, Jason Becker... er im sure theres more. i should be up there soon ;)

yeah i tell you how the 1527 is, i should get it this weekend.

Atica 10-11-2006 01:28 PM

Thar's a good guitar, when you get it you must show us a picture of it :p

Tojes 10-11-2006 01:34 PM

I saw Score with a discount yesterday.

:-0

It didn't seem very cheap so I didn't take it. I'll pick up Slayer instead. I think.

ghettoeddo 10-11-2006 02:24 PM

...

*slapslapslapslapslap*

the only thing i didnt like about the RG1527 is that 1) it's ibanez and 2) it seemed very chunky and 3) it's only in that blue color

Jev 10-11-2006 04:56 PM

What's wrong with Ibanez?
and that colour is very sexy.

ghettoeddo 10-11-2006 05:14 PM

ibanez...idk. they seem to have a mechanical tone.

i much prefer petrucci's musicman over his ibanez.

i'd like a darker color or at least a darker shade of blue....i mean it's a 7-string for god's sake :]

eighty d 10-11-2006 05:50 PM

Pickups and amp play a much bigger role in tone than guitar brand. Granted, Ibanez doesn't put very good stock pickups in their lower end guitars, but when upgraded you can get a nice playing/sounding guitar for not a lot of money.

publicastration 10-11-2006 05:59 PM

Yes but the guitar brand will play a role in playability and feel.

ghettoeddo 10-12-2006 12:04 AM

there seems to be that stereotype running that ibanez is more machine-like and "factory-based."
idk. maybe that plays into my psyche a bit.

the rg1527 will still be what i'm most likely gonna get just cuz im a whore for trem bars :]
i cant wait to play the mirror

jpshortstuff 10-12-2006 03:47 AM

ATTN: ghettoeddo - the RG1527 is available in Galaxy black, thats what im getting :thumb:
yeah, it is a bit chunky tho.

eug008 10-12-2006 07:22 AM

This it?

http://images2.dmusic.com/users/a/l/e/alecs/50075.jpg

Im also kinda lookning for a 7 string, anyone tried Schecter? Don't have that much cash and it seems to be what the guitar forum has in mind.

jpshortstuff 10-12-2006 07:29 AM

^^yeah thats it, hehe i posted the same pic when showing someone else in this forum

i haven't tried any Schecters out, even though they are widely recommended for first/cheaper 7Strings.

eug008 10-12-2006 07:54 AM

Yeah, this would be my first 7 string. They don't look that bad either except I wanna try it out before I think aboiut getting one and I can't find on anywhere . Although I tried some not so expnsive Ibanez 7 and it was fairly good.

Liquid Fantasy 10-12-2006 12:24 PM

About that 7, if you want something really cheap but good for the price the Washburn x17 (i think thats the model) is really good and cheap, or if you want a 7 that you will want to maintain for a fair amount of years that schecter you are talking about could be a good deal.

jpshortstuff 10-12-2006 01:38 PM

^^ so your saying that this Ibanez isn't a good choice?

np: ACOS

Jev 10-12-2006 03:55 PM

What about Jp's Musicman 7 string?

bwnstl 10-12-2006 03:58 PM
