Bazarov 04-25-2006 08:02 PM

Oh. Well yeah that would explain a lot. Has Destruction had a lot of line up changes?

Apocalyptic Raids 04-25-2006 08:06 PM

Well besides the vocalist change at the end of the 80's, it's always been Mike (the guitarist) and Schmier. They have had a four drummers, and they had a second guitarist on Mad Butcher, Release From Agony and Cracked Brain.

Riva 04-25-2006 08:15 PM

I just discovered my mate doesn't like European thrash. I'm pretty annoyed. He'll listen to Slayer and Exodus but not Kreator and Bifrost.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-25-2006 08:17 PM

Tell him he's gay.

:D

Corporal Compendia 04-26-2006 09:12 AM

^^^ That'll teach him.

NP: Funerot - Invasion From the Death Dimension
Check it out, dudes! Old school thrash to the max. Kinda like... Whiplash.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-26-2006 09:28 AM

Or alternatively make him listen to Exodus' Strike Of The Beast, then Kreator's Total Death.

Funerot sound interesting.

I checked out Exodus' demos today, Deathrow is a great song.

Corporal Compendia 04-26-2006 09:37 AM

You will go download Funerot... You will gooooo downlooooad Funerot! *trance*

Short CD... only 28 minutes, but I must listen again! And again!!!!

Shred Danson 04-26-2006 12:56 PM

NP : Thrashing Of The Christ
If it's any consolation I don't think I'll be going Saturday :upset:

Apocalyptic Raids 04-26-2006 07:19 PM

Shady Ultima 04-26-2006 07:48 PM

I can't find any Fenerot...

Apocalyptic Raids 04-26-2006 07:51 PM

Probably because you're spelling it wrong.

Shady Ultima 04-26-2006 10:17 PM

No, I just made a typo now. F-U-N-E-R-O-T

Bazarov 04-26-2006 10:18 PM

So Agent Steel is coming to a city near me. It's a free show, I'm most likely going to see them.

Bazarov 04-26-2006 10:26 PM

Haha yeah, I'm going to go. Some band I'd never heard of called Damycan is there as well.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-26-2006 10:32 PM

I nearly picked up Agent Steel's DVD yesterday, but it was way overpriced.

Shred Danson 04-26-2006 10:42 PM

Not going to MW cause my ride is going on tour, those bastards.

NP: Without A Trace - The Birth of Alchemy

oshi

Shady Ultima 04-27-2006 12:36 AM

I still can't get any Funerot music :(

Bazarov 04-27-2006 12:58 AM

Man, I posted a link to them on M-A. It has quite a few links... including their myspace, which I'm sure will have some of their songs.

edit
 and none of the links work. :(

Shady Ultima 04-27-2006 01:02 AM

Ya, that's what I was just about to post. Their Myspace is gone, and there are no downloads on that site

Apocalyptic Raids 04-27-2006 01:58 AM

I found them pretty easily on DC++.

Shady Ultima 04-27-2006 03:02 AM

Does anyone have any Death songs they could send me? I've heard only two (Evil Dead and Baptized in Blood) and I cannot find anymore on limewire.

If anyone has more songs, I have MSN, AIM and Yahoo

Apocalyptic Raids 04-27-2006 03:39 AM

I would, but my internet is way to slow. I'm suprised you can't find any on limewire though. I suggest you get Soulseek (http://www.slsknet.org) since Death is really easy to find on there.

I will give you a list of songs though:

Zombie Ritual (this is one of, if not their most popular song)
Leprosy
Pull The Plug
Infernal Death
Open Casket

Mother 04-27-2006 04:24 AM

I found a few on limewire .... but its hard because 200 files are death cab for cutie and around 5 death tracks. But i managed to get around 10 tracks off limewire.

Shady Ultima 04-27-2006 02:31 PM

Man... I got SoulSeek... and searched Death... and it came with Death Cab and The Pixies :S

Apocalyptic Raids 04-27-2006 08:55 PM

Just search for those song names, or either of the albums those songs are from. (Leprosy and Scream Bloody Gore).

FatalEnergy 04-27-2006 09:50 PM

Do a room search in a Death metal or the Thrash room.

All of the usuals are gone.....

Probably figured the thread died

Apocalyptic Raids 04-27-2006 10:02 PM

yeah :(

Mother 04-28-2006 11:02 PM

So i found out ..if your using limewire put in the album title aswell i got most of Sceam bloody gore yesterday.

Bazarov 04-29-2006 12:10 AM

I read that Max said the only thing good from Morbid Visions or Bestial Devastation was Troops of Doom... I don't know what he's talking about. I got both those today. There's good music here.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-29-2006 12:40 AM

Bestial Devastation is way better. Antichrist is the best thing from Morbid Visions or Bestial.

Morbid Visions is kinda meh.

Bazarov 05-01-2006 02:37 PM
Jim Fergades, former Morbid Saint guitarrist, is on myspace, and obviously in our top 8. He and other former Morbid Saint members have formed a band called Hallowcore. Stay tuned for new material by our fellow metal brothers!
From the Morbid Saint myspace.... I wonder how good this new band will be.

According to Jim's myspace Hallowcore is:
Hallowcore is: Patrick Lind-Vocals Jay Visser-Guitar Jim Fergades-Guitar Randy Wall-Drums Gary Beimel-Bass

AA-12 05-02-2006 01:58 PM

I recently got a Morbid Saint CD, and a Municipal Waste CD, and I really love them both. I didn't realize how good thrash is. I also listen to the typical bigger stuff like Slayer, Kreator, old Metallica, Megadeth, etc. Anyway, does anyone know what I should get into next?

Overkill. My personal favorites are Years Of Decay and Taking Over.

Also try out Legion Of The Damned. I really like those guys.

Okay, so I got Hypnosia's Extreme Hatred again after deleting it for some insane reason about a year ago.

I had forgotten how much this album fucking slays.

Yeah, that album has some angelslaying riffs on it.

Even the verse riffs are rediculously good.

AA-12 05-05-2006 01:54 PM

Hypnosia - Extreme Hatred is one of the best albums i've heard now. I can't wait until the whole thing finishes. Nuclear Assault is great so far too.
