No i've been into Black Metal for about 3 years. Favorite bands would be Darkthrone, Emperor, Immortal, Cradle Of Filth, Primordial, Behexen, Burzum, Dissection, Gorgoroth, Graveworm, Impaled Nazarene, Limbonic Art, Marduk, Mayhem, Rotting Christ, Sargeist, Satyricon, 1349.

cradle of filth isnt black metal, well maybe there first release is.

I consider them Black Metal. Their first 5 releases are definitely Black Metal. Newer ones are debated.

Some good, some bad, and some horrible stuff. Behexen is possibly the most boring black metal band in the history of black metal. Everything they do is strictly by-the-books.

Are you f[U]u[/U]cking serious? Newer ones are far from black metal and there old ones have black metal influences, but are not black metal.

COF are not black metal.

Well supposedly their upcoming album is supposed to sound like Dusk And Her Embrace. If it does i'll probably **** my pants because DAHE is my favorite COF album.

Does Moonblood have anything good besides [I]Blut Und Krieg[/I]?

When is the new Immortal album coming out?

I hate Immortal.

Why?

I just never liked them. I tried to get into them when I first started listen to black metal and bands like Darkthrone, Mayhem, Burzum, etc. I checked out Immortal and didn't like them at all. I thought Emperor sucked a lot, too and I still do.

Emperor's first two albums and their demo Wrath Of The Tyrant are really good, but after that they suck. Nothing beats Nattens Madrigal by Ulver though.

There's only one plausible reason someone would prefer "The Principles of Evil Made Flesh" to "Vikinglir Veldi".

anybody like Dekadent? they are a atmospheric/symphonic band that will venture into black metal at times. its some really cool stuff. i have their new album The Deliverance of the Fall and its really good

Never heard of Dekadent. I've been listening to Doomed Dark Years by Astarte a lot lately. That album is awesome. Astarte sucks now though. Their last two albums are pretty bad.

Not really. He has too many cheesy "epic" songs with shitty and muddy production. If you like [I]Blut und Krieg[/I] I'd try [I]The Winter Falls over the Land[/I]. The song "Nightly Mass" makes the album somewhat interesting.

Disciple Of The Heinous Path by Sargeist is really good. I just listened to it twice in a row.

Nah, Sargeist aren't really that good.

I think they're really good. I also have been listening to Total Soul Rape by Craft a lot.
