You're right about brit-pop, though.

the Brit pop of the early 90's was fantastic, Blur, Oasis, Pulp, all brilliant bands.

The supposed sucessors to that are just horrible, warped, attempted imitations.

So my friends just got signed to Vagrant records. Irony? They hate Vagrant records. They call it Fagrant, actually. The bassist was telling me how he's struggled to find a band they respect on that label, haha. Still, they're letting them stay in Canada, which a lot of other labels wouldnt.

I just discovered that I like Katatonia a few minutes ago. This is good stuff.
