Guys, the AVA album isn't that bad. In fact, it's a pretty awesome album all considered.

I mean, Tom's retarded, but the album owns tbh. There's not a single bad song on there.

If you listened to the songs each on their own, then yes, they'd be good, but as a whole album, it doesn't really flow too well, and it's repetitive.

That's just my opinion though.

I think it flows fairly decent, but your right it is repetitive. But I'd say it's done like that for a reason. Because it gives the intire album the feeling Tom wanted it too.

Yeah, even though Tom is a total douche now-a-days, WDNTW is a fairly solid album. And like Lightning Strikes Twice (Sorry, dunno your real name) said, there really isn't one [I]bad[/I] song on the album. I don't think I've ever skipped through it, if I listen to it, I listen to it as a whole.
Yeah.. My point is it's a lot better than everyone is giving it credit for. It's deffintly not one of the best rock albums of the last 20 years, or whatever Tom said, but it's still pretty damn good.

my crap quick review of why i hate ava. overall i would say this album sucks. People listen to it cause they like tom. Many effects are used over. The chord progression is boring. THere guitar riffs sound crap. I would say if any of these song where put on a blink 182 album they would be known as the worst song on the album without a doubt.

^^^Worst post ever made in this thread. And that's saying something. You put no thought into what you said at all. You just looked back onto the songs quickly in your mind, using the image you've projected from the album because of how you feel against Tom. It's a pretty good album, that imo is underrated. Each song are similiar sounding, but alot of Blink songs were too. It's the way Tom writes. If the intire album wasn't like it was, do you think Tom would have been able to hammer his story home? It's a theme to it. You can't have a theme if there isn't a theme within the songs that connect. It's logic. Give the album another chance, with an open mind. And forget who's writing it.

I like the AVA album. I sit in my room with my lamp on the dimmest setting, and close my eyes. Feels like i'm floating. It's probabaly just me, but it's cool.

When I first got the album I was listening to it like that on repeat. I lay down in bed for 8 hours over night, never once fell asleep, and it felt like no more than two or three hours.

I've listened to the AVA album with the lights dimmed and laying down in my bed. It's actually really awesome.

TBH id just fall asleep doing that, with any album, but especialy AVA. I realy dont enjoy that album.

AVA has more interesting chord progressions than Blink ever did. At least AVA uses minor chords every once in awhile. The one thing I will say about the AVA album is that it doesnt have much staying power. I listened to it a bunch for about a week after I got it, and I've barely listened to it since.

Plus 44 will be debuting their new video for "When Your Heart Stops Beating" this Monday on TRL.

Sweet. After listening to the (+44) Bootleg (Paris) I'm kinda' questioning how good they're going to be. From what I could hear (The bootleg was terrible quality) only about half the songs were any good.

AAA isn't bad chillout music. The album as a whole is really bad, but I think part of that is because of Tom's "Cruisinism" when he said it was the best thing in 20 years or whatever. (+44) have done good in just holding back until they had something to show, and I haven't listened to one song off the new album, so it should be a bit better.

And yeah, that douche has gayyed up the Blink-182 thread ever since he got here.
