Does the DD-6 have a loop function? I know the DigiDelay does and it is the ultimate song writing assistant.
It does.
Im gonna start taking Piano class during 4th quarter, which will lead me to my summer goal: Record the guitar and piano on Pink Floyd's Echoes flawlessly
Awesome :thumb: I've always wanted to learn how to play piano in a classical manner, by a teacher.

Good luck :)

magicbus 12-31-2004 11:53 AM

So this is where all the cool cats hang out eh?

Gilmour I'm gonna start learning piano too. We have one in our basement, but it doesn't get used much. I'm gonna make this my next instrument project.

Kingofdudes 12-31-2004 12:00 PM

I got a pretty crappy keyboard right now, but I think I will save up for a better one once I get a good quality amp.

Bartender 12-31-2004 12:22 PM

Real pianos are so much better than keyboards.

(Not trying to rain on your parade, it's just what I think :)).

magicbus 12-31-2004 12:23 PM

Yea keyboards are where its at. I love Rick Wright's work, man. That's the reason I love Any Colour You Like, the keyboards sound so badass. I also love The Doors for the same reason.

Real pianos don't have switches that make chicken sounds...

/win

Yes, that is a win rigth there.

Vintersorgs first album Till Fjalls is addicting...I got it last night and the title tracks chorus is so simple, yet so catchy.

Pipe organs are better that pianos and keyboards.

I think I'll go do my review now. Inspiration from a hobo not to be lazy.
It does.
Then is sounds good to me. I have a DD-3 and it is a pretty crappy delay but I hear the DD-6 is really awesome. (Yes, I have 2 delay pedal. And 3 types of distortion. And 2 phasers. I'm into certain sounds. Only one of the rest of my pedals though)

I wish I had the money for a ZVex Probe Tremelo. It seems like the coolest pedal ever.

that's awesome. I'd like to know if learning the piano is tough or not. I begged my mom for piano lessons when I was about 5 or 6, but sadly I never got them.

I turned down piano lessons when I was 5, but it is one of the biggest regrets of my life now.
So, before i have to venture into the guitar forum...
Does anyone have any experience with the Boss MT-2 Metal Master or the Boss DD6 Delay pedal?

The fags at guitar center wouldn't give me two wires to try them out for some reason so before i go back again, anybody have experience?
The MT-2 Metal Master is pretty good.

And yeah, the people at guitar center are assholes!

BoboTheRagingHobo 12-31-2004 06:09 PM

I am going to take piano lessons in college when I start to learn it, I have been wanting to learn how to play for quite some time. I have had an actual piano in my house for like 8 years now, and still haven't learned...

Silenius 12-31-2004 06:11 PM

You should learn Sorgens Kammer on piano Bobo, it's an awesome song.

CaptainWaits 12-31-2004 06:14 PM

Yeh everyone all says piano is only for fags and it's pointless to learn....but really it's one of the best talents u can have, and u can do so much with a piano/keyboard

BoboTheRagingHobo 12-31-2004 06:17 PM
You should learn Sorgens Kammer on piano Bobo, it's an awesome song.
Oh I know, I love that song, very brilliant piano piece I think. Also want to learn some Nobuo Uematsu stuff on the piano...

BludgeonySteve 12-31-2004 07:06 PM

No instrument is useless to learn. Though I would never play piano because i'm lazy and already spent a ton of time getting good on guitar.

AB/CD 12-31-2004 07:09 PM

dave mustaine from megadeth can play piano

CaptainWaits 12-31-2004 07:16 PM

Prince can play like almost every instrument imaginable

Per Ardua Ad Astra 12-31-2004 09:07 PM

When i was younger, I took piano lessons for about 6 years. So about 5 years ago, when i started playing guitar, it sped up my abilities by an estimated two years because i had already built up an incredible amount of finger strength.

Kingofdudes 12-31-2004 09:08 PM
