Didnt this happen three times now? Dude, back up your stuff.
It only happened twice... :upset:
Ah yes, the mastery of Mr. Wilson. The Lamentations DVD is quite educational on his work, and I suppose it was very similar to BWP.

Anyhow, Bleak is a tough song to sing because it's a medium term pitch voice, I mean, the clean vocals, you know, so I have to force my voice big time on that.

Overall, it's a fun, easy song to play.
so you're a bass?

Det_Nosnip 01-31-2006 05:15 PM

Yes, he's a bass...if Paul Simon was a rock and John Lennon was the Walrus (the Walrus was Paul!).

Toaster 01-31-2006 05:30 PM

I read the other day that a page of paper with lyrics to "I am the Walrus" handwritten by John Lennon sold at an auction for over 100,000 dollars.

Yeah but for the rich, $100,000 is like water to them. The money just flows in.

Tyr 02-01-2006 06:56 AM

You get a whole lot of sympathy from me... I feel your pain

Vortigon 02-01-2006 11:14 AM

No sympathy here. I saw them for free.

Cardboard Headgear 02-01-2006 12:48 PM

So why aren't they coming to SF exactly? Cause that, my friends, is retarded.

YES! And I only have to wait 'til April, too. Plus they'll be the Roskilde festival, as well, and I'm probably going there to see Tool, then I can see Opeth one more time. Sweet!

I tought this was an Opeth thread.

Tool is a great band anyways.

Hells Bells 02-02-2006 08:00 AM

This thread does get back to Tool a lot...

Anyway, I've been listening to GR a lot lately, and it's reaffirmed my love for it :p I hope Opeth continues with this new sound, I think they could do a lot with it, and it'll be really interesting to see where it takes them.
