Rotting Christ's first album was pretty good and so were the early demos. I haven't bothered to check out any of their other stuff though.

The first two are good along with the demos.

As for Greek BM that is similar but better go for Varathron and to a lesser extent Necromantia.

The first two Rotting Christ albums are worthwhile but Rotting Christ has too soft a sound for me.

@Rotting Christ discussion: their albums are hit or miss for me. Non Serviam and Theogonia are both really good imo. I should put Thy Mighty Contract on my list of albums to check out too x_x

Thy Mighty Contract is the best black metal they've done.

They gave an enjoyable live show when I saw them.

I never listen to them on CD.

Non Serviam is awesome. Their most recent album Theogonia is pretty bad. All their early stuff is great though. Kronos 666 is pretty awesome too.

Yeah right dude their early stuff is great. Their newer stuff is still good, but a little mainstream. Kind of like COF.

All the BM you need from the LLN is the Belketre/Vlad Tepes split, that is essential black metal, there is some other good stuff but none of it comes close to touching that release.
