i like brutal truth - evolution through revolution and magrudergrinds s/t a little bit more than deconstuct but they all rule. Those are probably my top grind albums. Agorapoclypse is cool but i'd rather listen to pig destroyer. Still its a good album.
wtf -1

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 09:06 AM
yea i listened to iron lung/hatred surge collab just recently, that was good
Broken is amazing. They should do a second collab tbh.

EDIT @ h&d: yeah pretty sure I was like wtf, too. Neither of those come anywhere even close to Deconstruct.

HighandDriving 12-16-2009 09:09 AM

Magrudergrinds ok you might be able to argue that, but not Evolution Through Revolution.

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 09:10 AM

I like both of those albums but they are same ol' same ol', Deconstruct is not.

DBlitz 12-16-2009 09:15 AM

deconstruct is definitely good but i'm a big fan of magrudergrind's new one too

Txus 12-16-2009 10:53 AM

Magrudergrind's s/t >>> Deconstruct

but srsly, the new Brutal Truth is pretty bad.

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 12:02 PM

I don't see what's so bad about it. It's definitely nothing special but I wouldn't call it outright bad. Seems kinda harsh, brah.

Txus 12-16-2009 12:46 PM

I just compare their old stuff to this album and it sounds really bad, too polished and there's a lot of really lame songs in the middle of okay ones. Plus, it has horrible artwork.

At least they still kick *** live.

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 12:58 PM

Well yeah compared to their old stuff it's kinda butt, I still don't think it's bad, though.

Txus 12-16-2009 01:02 PM

yeah idk i dont like it

Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses is still one of the best grind albums in my books though

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 01:04 PM

Yeah that album rules pretty hard. I like Sounds of the Animal Kingdom, too.

Txus 12-16-2009 01:05 PM

Me too, the production on that album is pretty much the perfect grind production imo.

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 01:06 PM

Which are you referring to?

nevertoolate 12-16-2009 01:12 PM

Digging a couple spanish bands atm, Machetazo and Looking For An Answer both ****ing destroy

publicastration 12-16-2009 01:12 PM

world extermination production = best grind production

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 01:13 PM

I disagree.

EDIT: The Inaliable Dreamless noobz.

publicastration 12-16-2009 01:14 PM

it's really tight and fairly clear yet still dirty/fuzzy/trashy

Txus 12-16-2009 01:15 PM

**** yes :D

Our grind scene rules  haha

You should get some Gruesome Stuff Relish and Nashgul.

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 01:15 PM

Nashgul owns.

Txus 12-16-2009 01:16 PM

Best spanish grind band, hands down.

got Nashgul Mike, thats what made me check out those other two. I'll def check out Gruesome Stuff Relish. I've no idea what said in some of those passages before or after the majority of songs on Machetazo's Mundo Cripta but it adds an eerie element to its whole creepy *** sound <3
Best spanish grind band, hands down.
Agreed.

DBlitz 12-16-2009 01:24 PM

best and only spanish grind band i've heard

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 01:25 PM

Machetazo is good, too.

nevertoolate 12-16-2009 01:38 PM

Haha, nice.

The grind scene in spain is quite big, but most of the bands are too damn lazy so they just play live and never record. Kinda sucks since there's a bunch of stuff that's really damn solid.

And most of Machetazo songs have samples from old spanish zombie flicks.

RetiredAt21 12-16-2009 01:40 PM

Never heard that but I thought their s/t was pretty boring.

EDIT: @ Elder Brent

nevertoolate 12-16-2009 02:47 PM

Haven't heard the s/t justin, I like this release neway :)

yeah I thought it sounded like something along those lines, cool as.

Bleekill 12-16-2009 03:39 PM

I agree with the art of Evolution Through Revolution sucking but I still like the album a lot. Need to Control is the best they have done still.

And like I said Deconstruct is awesome but some of you guys make it sound like it's totally new sounding...for example there isn't a huge difference between Hatred Surge and Iron Lung to me.

Countorus 12-16-2009 04:24 PM

i probably like hatred surge more than iron lung, but there is a difference mr
