yea heard of it...how is it?
i still have yet to hear OSI actually... :(
http://www.progarchives.com/Progressive_rock_discography_BAND.asp?band_id=805 I got all their albums, pretty odd but good stuff. Definatly not much like DT but good stuff. I'll upload a track sometime soon which reminds me of Space Dye Vest, but better imo. Kevin Moores vocals really suit the music. |
:O woa he sings?? neatoooo
|
im considering getting some of JLB's stuff actually, despite not really liking him as a singer (/hides). i heard some clips that sounded quite cool.
|
yea t's probably off of elements of persuasion.
some of it actually reminds me of linkin park. but better of course |
:O woa he sings?? neatoooo
Yup, he hasn't really got much of a range but it suits very well. You'll see when I upload the track anyway. @ JP, yeah he sounds better on his solo albums imo. |
aiite sounds good sounds good.
if you -could-, rapidshare would NOT be preferable...but if you must that's fine ill deal :smoke: |
I never upload on RS, especially with the crap dload speeds I've been getting. I mean, 3 hours for a Rudess album?
|
haha yea...didnt you upload that text file w/ all the rudess links via rapidshare?
|
nah, sendspace I think.
|
hey folks, I'm still waiting on my JLB album.
|
Guys, the Chroma Key song (Kevin Moore's side project where he does the Keyboards and Vocals).
http://www.sendspace.com/file/mlybao |
this song is AMAZING
|
It most certainly is . I can upload one of their albums for you guys sometime today if anyone want's?
EDIT: I'll get it up now. May take a while, so in a few hours it should be good. |
What Chroma Key song did you up? I love You Go Now, particularly Get Back in the Car and Another Permanent Address.
|
On The Page, it's off Dead Air For Radios which is my favourite CK album. It says it'll be up in 50 minutes so post if you want it.
EDIT: IT'S UP ghetto and pate check your rep. If anyone else wants it tell me. |
Thanks man :thumb:
|
Hmm my first post in here; and I am a pretty big (Metaphorically) Dream Theater fan ... SFAM is probably my favourite album; but my favourite song has to be A Change of Seasons, seriously it is one of my fave songs of all time ... and 23 minutes! What more could you want!? :thumb:
|
^i like your thinking sir, and welcome to the thread
SFAM is my favourite album too i think, and ACOS definatly one of my favourite songs. now to give this post a point: what kind of music is KM's Chroma Key? i may be interested in this u/l from eug. |
Does anyone have a powertab or Guitarpro of the big medley for guitar?
|
Hey Eug, thanks for Jordan Rudess albums. Also for posting Kevin Moore's project. :thumb:
|
thanks eug, i'd rep you but i need to "spread it first."
chroma key is just...idk. think liquid tension, but not as in your face a litlte more laid back etc. still a lot of prog elements and those JR albums made me cry. SO good...im almost tempted to say that i like him more than JP...but yea... |
I'd like the Chroma Key album(s) if you please.
I wouldn't associate Chroma Key with Liquid Tension. Liquid Tension is, for the most part, extremely progressive and technical. Chroma Key is really laid back and chill. A lot more atmospheric, a lot more beat driven. I'd like the album that you upped eug. cranuaed@gmail.com |

It's a very good album so I'd say get it. I'll send it to all you guys, hold on. If you want it JP post your email cause it's not in your profile  |
Downloading the Chroma Key now. Thanks eug and rep+.

cranuaed@gmail.com
chroma key still has a little bit of that virtuostic element to it...not quite so much as LTE, but a bit. and there's a lot of prog hallmarks too like strange key signatures... idk. hard to describe. its all good shit anyway |
Yeah, it's like relaxing kind of music. Very balladish kind of. Great stuff tho, and their other album's are more experimentalish.
|
anyone hear the rudess/morgenstein stuff?
|
^^no, but i'd like to - rudess is my kind of crazy smilin' keyboardist.
eug, i listened to that sample track you posted and it was pretty good, i wasn't expecting to enjoy it tbh. i'll take that album if you'd be so kind :) jpshortstuff @ gmail dot com |
Of course. What album are you talking about ghetto?
