Faggots at RYM decide to ban me for no reason.
they know you called me a fatass and how it hindered my positive self-image
I've never been to RYM. What's that about?

OMG! i found a professionally-written review for Rodan's Rusty. finally someone with writing skill has described this album so i dont have to keep doing it :D
http://www.stylusmagazine.com/articles/on_second_thought/rodan-rusty.htm i dont know a lot about Stylus, might be a Pitchfork clone? who cares, this article is good. edit: also this http://www.stylusmagazine.com/articles/on_second_thought/the-jesus-lizard-liar.htm |
this whole Second Thoughts feature is amazingly awesome.
definitely convinced me to look into Rodan.
I'm not going to look into Rodan because YDload likes them.
rodan is good though. but i like a minor forest more.
I like A Minor Forest.
I'm going to listen to Rusty right now for the first time in years.
i deleted just about everything on my computer
who has 1 kiwifruit and a book about ibn battuta in their refrigerator?
Rusty is a nice album.
There are hundreds more reviews in that "On Second Thought" archive. Lots of good albums.
My cd player in my car decided to stop working, just before I have a 3 hour drive back down south to my mum's for my birthday in a week. Hopefully I'll have it sorted by then. :(
I went to Crooked Beat today with some of my Christmas money but they didn't have DNOTD which was what I wanted the most. I still got Ocean Beach and Rust Never Sleeps though and they are sounding good.
Crooked Beat's the shit
most definitely. The other record store right next to it is pretty good too.
do you go there from the Adams-Morgan metro station? cause when you walk across that huge bridge and past the rowhouses on Calvert Street, one of the houses is where Minor Threat played their first show.
Yeah I go from the metro and I walked on that bridge. Thats pretty awesome about Minor Threat
I saw Ian Mackaye punch a guy at a Minor Threat show. A video of that happening, I mean.
Drugz r bad but violence is peachy.
yea haha... is ian mackaye a vegan or anything?
Doubt it. Just a tough guy.
no he USED to love moshing when he was in Minor Threat (and the fighting was mostly in self-defense), but got tired of it by the time Fugazi came around
and yeah he's a vegetarian |
yea i heard he would get pissed at people moshing at fugazi concerts

I love this video, and he's right. Emo is a stupid label for music. |
it's called emotional hardcore, asshole
You know Ian is right. Dumb terms like "grunge" and "emo" can lick my ass for all I care, and it makes me REALLY mad when people have to dwell into it. Why should those words be associated with music? It's cool to label something by a particular name just to sound smart like you're some sort of elitist? No, it's not, and you can learn if you JUST ACCEPT THAT LABELING MUSIC IS STUPID. Ian was right about what he said you know.
yeah RA RA RA RAA
