DepthsOfDreams555 05-05-2006 02:33 PM

Some intense practicing coming up I'm guessing. Well good luck man.
Classical is awesome. What composer?
String Quartet - tribute to Muse :p

Seriously though, I was listening to Beethoven earlier.

DepthsOfDreams555 05-05-2006 02:34 PM

I listen to Beethoven too, not as much as I listen to Bach though.

I will be annoying my parents like hell in for the next week. I'm praying the drummer can go and I will get to play baritone. It's a lot more fun to play on baritone. The drummer will know Monday if he can go or not.

And Thanks.:p

Drums>baritone

But good luck learning them.

Zach: I prefer Beethoven to Bach.

I agree Drums>Baritone. Really? Well then. I have nothing to say to that :)

Yeah, but I mean they're really different styles so it's hard to compare. I mean Bach is the staple used to teach four part writing to all music students, but Beethoven expanded into more Romantic styles of music with his work so eh. I tend to prefer Romantic music to straight Classical.

Dead Star 05-05-2006 02:49 PM

I was complimented I was really good at bass earlier.

Because I played Dani California to my friend.

:-\

Permanent Solution 05-05-2006 02:51 PM

Hey man, a compliment is a compliment.

I've still not heard Dani yet, meh.

Ya, I wasn't really comparing them, I just find myself listening to Bach more than I listen to Beethoven, but yes this is true.

Permanent Solution 05-05-2006 02:54 PM

No yeah I was just saying it's all about preference and that we just prefer different styles. Both rock though.

Basically I talk too much.

bottlerocket 05-05-2006 02:56 PM

My prom is tonight.

I don't want to go...

My date's making me take her. She feels awful because of what happened last year at prom so she refuses to let that be my final memory of prom...basically, she's my best friend and she's forcing me to go.

She's got a boyfriend...so...I'm not getting any tonight. :p

Regardless, I don't want to go at all.

Gnarmageddon 05-05-2006 02:56 PM

Then don't go.

Dead Star 05-05-2006 02:57 PM

I can send you it on AIM if you want.

Pretty good song imo.

To Vincent.

Gav, don't go to your prom if you dont want to.

Yes, yes both are definetly awesome.

That sucks, but if you go you will probably have a good time. My school's prom is tomorrow night, but me and my girlfriend are both sophmore's so we aren't going.
Then don't go.
Well, since I already:

-Coughed up $175 for tickets
-Paid $20 for her corsiage
-Got a $70 dollar tux rental (cheapest they had)
-Promised her I would

I basically have to.

DepthsOfDreams555 05-05-2006 03:00 PM

Just don't think of it as a hassle. Think of it as just a butt load of fun :thumb:

Permanent Solution 05-05-2006 03:01 PM

Dear Gav,

You are such a silly kid. But you can get some with someone else's date, everyone'll be drunk anyways, right?

Love, Vince

J: Nah, if I had an interest I'm sure i could get the album but meh. I'll get it eventually no doubt.

Kif 05-05-2006 03:02 PM

I just finished watching Backlash. Still pissed at the results.

Dead Star 05-05-2006 03:02 PM

Fair enough Vince dude.

Kif, I heard its the suck.

cobert 05-05-2006 03:03 PM

I havent been to any school functions for the 2 years i've been going there.

I'm embarrassed to like new taking back sunday, but i do anyways. Up against is good, my blue heaven is really good, twenty-twenty surgery is good, spin is great, miami is good, and ill let you live is good. It just seems theyre getting kind of generic, every song is verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge with soft singing/chorus.

PDWAB 05-05-2006 03:04 PM

I didn't go to my prom and I don't really feel like I missed out on anything. Besides at the time I was in New York City playing at Carnegie Hall.

Haha, that's awesome. were you around this whole time, because we were talking classical and i was so thinking "oh god, joel's gonna come in here and make me look like a total idiot because i'm so out of my element..." lol

<3

Haha, nah, like I said, she's my best friend and it just won't happen. I used to like her but now we're just best friends. She's rather gorgeous though.

Plus, I don't plan on drinking tonight. :p

I haven't drank nor smoked weed in over a year. I used to for a few months but I quit. Maybe in college I'll drink socially, though.

See, guys! Joel didn't go to prom and he turned out fine.

-Gav

DepthsOfDreams555 05-05-2006 03:11 PM

I haven't smoked weed in like 6 months, I'm proud of myself, it used to be a weekly thing. I still drink but not often.

cobert 05-05-2006 03:13 PM

I remember that Tom kid used to come on here every other night or so fuckin' CRUNKED.

Get Fighted 05-05-2006 03:14 PM

And i seem to need a cigarette all the time now, not cool.

bottlerocket 05-05-2006 03:15 PM

I used to smoke weed

EVERY

DAY.

I'm glad I quit.
