The first time I got drunk, we drank mostly Captain Morgan's and a couple beers. I didn't throw up (actually, I never do), but I remember being outside and trying to do a backflip but really just falling over. It was a good night. I was 13 I think.


I actually kind of like having a mild case of the spins (not enough to get a headache from or feel sick) right before I go to sleep after a good night. It's interesting to me.

A friend of mine got drunk for the first time last year, and someone almost got him to attempt to jump over osmebody's car. I'd rather avoid a situation like that.

Except for the first one or two times I got really wasted, I can usually control myself pretty well when I drink heavily now.

Nah, it wasn't that. It was the fact that I really felt...not myself, and it wasn't I place I liked at all. I remember the night and just remember being very disoriented and kind of scared, honestly. It sucked. I really don't see the appeal of getting smashed at all. I like to conciously think about and experience things, and making myself unable to do that really puts me in a bad place.

Your life starts to flash before your eyes and you grasp for these memories and you feel like your life will never return to you. It may sound lame, but that's just how it was.

I've seen people have experiences like this before. Long time users of whatever or whichever suddenly feeling helpless.

Each story is different, of course. I'd imagine a bad acid trip would be especially uncomfortable.

I have no problem with the occasional drink. The wrap party for our film, I had a drink at the restaurant. Though a friend of mine decided to try a sake-tini (martini made with sake). He couldn't finish more than half of it.

Conversely, the few frats around here have no concept of moderation. On any given weekend, you're likely to find them outside their dorm pissing on the side of the building and talking in slurred speech conspiracy theories somehow linked to Jessica Simpsons boobs. I don't understand why people do that to themselves.

I had a bad shroom trip once, but somehow it didn't deter me from doing shrooms again.

I guess it's because I hadn't taken so many that I lost touch with reality, and there wasn't a feeling of loss of control, there was just a heavy... unpleasantness. I think I know why it happened that night. No problems since.
