Sludge usually either has a swamp vibe or a punk vibe. And harsher vocals than true doom.

You played on [I]Transfiguration[/I], didn't you? Still listen to that album. Our Final Autumn is a great song.

He's not. A Chap called Adrian from Canada is. There's rough demos with him singing on their Myspace. He's good.

I did play on Transfiguration and A Walk Through Oceans and I've just done their new one. I'm glad you like Transfiguration although Our Final Autumn has to be one of my least favourite Unsilence songs! Interestingly (or not), the uptempo bit is the first riff I ever wrote for the band! I did a gig with them late last year and we played The Gallery - which was fun.

So I booked Lair of the Minotaur to play the radio station the Thursday before Maryland Death Fest, but in order to book OM I would need over 4,000 dollars :(

I also emailed The Thrones manager and they won't be on the East coast until May.

How coem you'd need so much for OM?

Eh, he said they have very very limited touring plans. I really wanted that to work out.

No Pentagram show at the radio station :-x I wanted to aim high, but the station manager said we would need a heroin budget in order to get Bobby to perform there.

I am still going to do an interview though :)

What are some bands that sound like Pentagram?

I just heard the First Daze Here album thanks to a skate video and I'm digging them so hard.

Check out Psalm 9 by Trouble, it's got some similar traits and is kick[B]a[/B]ss traditional doom.

Witchcraft comes to mind. They're basically a Pentagram worship band

St. Vitus would be worth checking out too.
