This website has a collection of mp3s: all versions of songs on the NWA album "Straight Outta Compton" with swear words ONLY. Every track is cut down to its essential bad words. For some sort of entertainment.
 That is great. I just listened to **** Tha Police. |

I would just make a mix tape of a string of various artists singing "Fuck", it was amazing. |
Look. The number of the beast \m/

Which one? |
Knowing how this thread works, I'm not sure whether this would do better as a thread of it's own. Might as well ask though.
Any chance any of you could help me find more of the kind of songs I'm enjoying at the moment? They're an odd kind of song to have a preference for - no particular genre, no particular length or anything like that. They all share a way of (mostly) guitar and bass playing that I'm really liking at the moment, but I've no idea what to call it, as I don't think it's a specific style or anything, just playing little catchy meandering bits of riffs/solos..gah. It's impossible to really say without just providing examples, which I will. Here; the guitar throughout (but especially at the start) of Stiff Little Fingers - Johnny Was; the wah(?)-influenced guitar that begins after the piano intro on North - Through Fire; most of the instrumental outro of The Stone Roses - I Am the Resurrection; the intro bass and then all the guitar that follows on North - Untitled; finally, more or less all the bass and guitar work throughout The Stone Roses - Fool's Gold. Fool's Gold less so than all the others though, I think. My hopes aren't high for actually getting answers to this :( |

I listened to his LP at a friends house years ago now. He's crazy, but the songs are pretty entertaining. I should probably pick that record up on eBay sometime. |

These "meandering" type solos and riffs you're looking for can be found pretty easily in most Minutemen songs. A lot of D. Boon's solos sound the same, but they're just what you're looking for. Theater is the Life of You #1 Hit Song My Heart and the Real World Dr. Wu Maybe Partying Will Help Songs like those. |
Soulseek will not work! I already upgraded and it was working, WTF?

He's insane. My uncle (a huge Zappa/Beefheart fan) sent me about 50 of his mp3s. |

It was a good idea for a thread: to celebrate the 1910s. But now everyone keeps talking about slavery because they have no concept of history. If you're one of those who steers clear of the Pit, you might want to check out what you're missing. |
broken Soulseek=very sad lady.
|
Whatcha lookin' for?
|
I am making a post-rock mix for a friend, and allmusic recommended me some The Workhouse, and I was wanting to finish my A Silver Mount Zion cd and start a Fly Pan Am cd.
EDIT: also, have you heard the new ASMZ cd? I heard it was reallly good. |
